This could be a thumping now. We have to come out and we're not used to that and we dont have a pacey back 4.

I honestly think either Babel or Pennant should have started to keep their full backs in their own half.

The starting XI is all wrong.

Arsenal ripping Liverpool to shreds...they are looking wayyyyyyyyyyy too good at the moment. Rafa sitting there taking notes any moment now I expect Arsene to bring out a black board and tell him "welcome to football 101"

Gr8 header. Stay at 1-1s good for me. Although rather see a load more goals than win my bets tbh. lol.

Although 1-1 were 'losing' this game in midfield so far, Mascherano is half asleep, and Alonso is too slow over the first few yards, Gerrad hasnt clicked, get amongst them, unsettle them,  as its unlikely were going to out-football them...

One of the best halves of football ive seen in a long time with a game involving 2 of the big 4. Hope the 2nds just as good.

It's that man-marking system.  Always at fault.

Believe

I believe that was a very entertaining half for the neutral!

Arsenal were giving us a battering early on.  In fact it reminded me of Istanbul.  Mascherano is particular was completely off the pace.

Sami Hyypia is a legend.  A fantastic header from the big man who tends to come good in the big games.

I just hope we can be more solid (and Arsenal can look as loose with the ball as they were towards the end of the half), otherwise there'll be another away goal and that'd probably be game over.
