First whinge thread post of the year, wtf! Does George run good? Has Kev avoided shopping?

Anyway, why do I need a huge sign on the bypass warning me of low temperatures, surely all the fecking snow is a fair indication there may be low temperatures.

Midlothian & West Lothian councils in real need of a kick up the arse with the state of some of the roads. Some are a disgrace where I live and that's 36 hours after the last significant snowfall ended.

Been up since 6am, new cooker was to be delivered at 7am. Still no sign - and no one can tell me when it will be delivered - or if it has left the delivery centre

With time on my hands I have been faffing in the kitchen - just realised the new cooker is bigger than the old one and won't fit in the gap......gg.

!!!

So the installer desperately tries to fit a 60cm cooker into a 55cm space and fails obv. No prob says I - you disappear, I will get another installer in once I have moved the base units. Spend most of the morning moving kitchen units - heaving stuff around and generally getting in a right old state. I am nackered.

Electrican bowls up this afternoon to fit said cooker - he can't install it as there is a unit above which is too low - ffs - cupboards have to be 750mm above the heat source even if it's an electric cooker and the unit is 500mm above the cooker. So now I will have to remove a wall cupboard - daren't do that on my own as I have visions of the cupboard falling off the wall and breaking the cooker.

So - old cooker removed, new cooker sitting in the middle of the kitchen (for safety) and not connected. FML.
