I was offered this 'awareness' course in lieu of penalty points and a fine, all for the bargain sum of £80 but I lost the form for it so I called up and the lady said no problem, we'll do it on the phone, they'll send out a pack.   Pack came today and she's booked me in for one the other side of Reading when there's a perfectly good venue about 10 mins away in Crowthorne and I'm not sure it's changeable.

Only a small life beat but one I could live without, especially as I have to pay £80 for the privilege.  Also, I feel guilty for posting the poker beat above, hopefully this will make you feel better

Doing some training at work this week, although training is somewhat misleading. I am sitting in a group doing computer based online learning packages. After the first 30 minutes the words I'm reading don't mean a thing. After an hour I don't even recognise the language, could be fucking Greek, Chinese, Arabic for all it means to me. Don't know much about the rest of the day we were all complete zombies by lunch time. Not a total loss though as we were informed that whatever it was we covered in the afternoon was just to give us an insight into some form we will never have to use anyway. FML.

Yeah the the missus invites them in for a chat and a cuppa.  Two old dears pop round cos they know she'll talk to them!  It does happen now and again.  Hopefully with Christmas coming I won't see them till the New Year.

I wouldn't mind but the wife isn't religious, she has an interest in stuff like that but if anything she's more on the Jesus side of things.
