I am with Gatso, nothing wrong with Christmas in fact it might be my favourite time of year. Lets just leave it till December, in fact a week before and after the 25th would do me.

Oh I agree with that...

More sigh.  Our courier isn't coming at work today cos when I requested the collection, their answerphone screwed up and only recorded silence, and one of our customers has said that we've engraved some plaques wrong, but not only that, they went in some photoframe or something like that and they're 'phoning to discuss the costs involved in reframing'!   The thing is, they sent in a dodgy as hell photoshop of the 'original' artwork that we did wrong, it looks badly photoshopped to me, the incorrect word now has a shadow on it and the rest of the text doesn't - really bad job, but we can't find the original she sent in three, yes 3 weeks ago.  She's had them 3 weeks, sent them off to the framers (6 of them) and not one person spotted it!  Come off it.     Going to be a fun conversation when/if she calls.

Opened the post and there's a letter from the Performance Rights people, basically, if you play music in a business place, you apparently need a licence to do so.   Obv this goes in the bin.  I've just had a call from someone there to follow up the letter.   Despite the fact that I listen to 5 Live, and we're only a small industrial unit with two people here, they still expect us to fork out over £100 p.a. to listen to the feckin radio.   I tried to argue that it was a talk show, but there's jingles apprently and I have to pay for the pleasure of listeing to them.

£100 pa.  Fucking rip off. I told her I'd take the radio home, miserable bastards.  If I'd been broadcasting it in a shop, fair enough, but we're a little unit out in the sticks ffs.

Christmas shopping today, just in after leaving at 9am this morning and heading out again in an hour to get the job done.

Christmas shopping with Jane ...

Go into every fucking shop within a 2 mile radius of the city centre, walk around aimlessly, buy fuck all.

Today I manhandled her out of woollies and frogmarched her to subway ... After a steak and double cheese with lettuce, red onion & mayo, I was ready to continue the aimless tedious fucking ball ache that xmas shopping undoubtedly is.

My only enjoyment of the day (apart from subway) was reminding people who were saying "happy Xmas" that we are actually in NOVEMBER, IT AINT CHRISTMAS !!
