Here's Joe Hachem in happier moments, pre-move to the Table o'PotentialTantrums.  Also featured on the lhs, Luca Pagano and Ed de Haas.

Also falling just short of the money was Team Winamax's Alexia Portal. who built a good stack over the first two days but just didn't seem to get of the Day Three Starting Blocks.  Expect to see more of the frankly quite intimidating French lady, on and offline.

We're still bubbling here, I'm afraid. Until some incredible geek with super-googling powers and a lot of spare time tells me otherwise, I'm declaring this the Longest Ever EPT Bubble.

Press are still not allowed inside the rail, but I snuck in and got a few chip counts before they threw me out.

Michael Martin (Reader - Smiley Smiley Smiley) - 270k and shaking his head gravely, I think to express dissatisfaction with how slowly everything is going rather than disappointment with his almost-twice-the-average stack
Luca Pagano - 270k
Sorel Mizzi - 230k
Trond Eidsvig - just 35k, eek! Sad Sad Sad He's having a massage to soothe his troubled mind/shoulders. Don't know why he's paying Legendary Masseuse Suki to do it, I'd do it for free.
Ed De Haas - at this point I got thrown out. Sorry.

The bubble is still threatening to overtake teeth pulling in the pain stakes, predominantly because we can't get to the tables and are relying on someone announcing the hands as they unfold. Most annoyingly, a number of random people have decided to treat the rail as a football stand of sorts, grabbing the nearest chair and setting up camp at ringisde. At one point I ducked underneath the rail, but was swiftly escorted back out, thus forcing us to lurk behind those seated members of the audience, thus rendering our press badges useless. Meanwhile, Steve Frezer announces, "Players won't be going on their dinner break until the bubble is burst," much to the amusement of the remaining field.

An enormous crowd has formed - I run over and fight my way through to somewhere near the front of it. There is a board out, and I can see it! It is three diamonds and Pagano Senior Claudio has bet 18k form the button. Felipe Taveres is deliberating. He stands up from his chair. He deliberates for some minutes. The crowd shuffles closer, holding its collective breath. Two of the other players at the tables are reading magazines. One is yawning. Felipe folds.
