was my check on the turn a bad play?
cheers guys
against a non thinking player i would bet the flop and bet the turn for value. if raised on the turn id pass.
when playing against a thinking player like cunningham i would go for a check raise on the flop i would make this a sizeable raise of about 3.5x his bet (put the guy to a decision). this would give me the information i need. if called or raised all in as i feel i would have around 21% equity against his range.

when checking raising the flop i can't see him calling with 77-22 or with overcards unless your image is loose which edgy's isn't.
if you check and he checks behind although your giving him free cards it isn't the worst case in the world againt his preflop range.

i feel TT+ and AK would have repoped preflop.
if the flop is check check id 100% bet the turn. if the turn is an ace or queen id give up after my turn bet. if the turn is safe like a 4 in this case id bet the turn and river for value. a 7 on the turn is also a pritty dodgy card too.
