Steve Holden Just won 2 nice pots, firstly he doubled up form 12k to 24k with

AND THEN

Paul Parker raises pre and gets one caller in Steve, Flop comes  two hearts Steve open shoves the flop and Paul dwelled but called .... On the backs and Paul has  , but Steve was holding

Turn

River

Giving Steve a straight flush and almost 50k in chips and knocking Paul to the felt.

Sunny Chattha has escaped!!!

Well sort of. The small blind limped and Sunny checked 9-8o in the big blind. The flop came a beautiful Q-J-T which they checked. The small blind led out on the 5 turn, and Sunny raised, the small blind flat-calling. The river paired the Queen, and the small blind checked and showed his cards before Sunny could act. Sunny said he'd have checked behind anyway, despite seeing the A-K of the small blind. He lost around 9k, though probably should've lost his whole stack on the turn. He's now short, having just been made to fold from the cut-off due to Tuan Lee's re-raise from the small blind.

Another player who was lucky to hold onto his stack was Jonathan McCann, he hadn't see Clark Watson already move-in and was forced to minimum raise from the 5k all-in short stack push to 10k. Enough to make Marty Smyth fold A-Q in the big blind. Clark showed 9-8o and was slightly relieved to see K-J, and even more delighted to see the board come out Q-7-7-8-7 in his favour. Although Marty might be rueing that decision...

Marc Goodwin looks to be the chip leader with around 80k now.

For one terrible moment I thought that was the FACT key that was escaping.

Ste King looks like he's out. I'll get the Joey count after the break.

Des Jonas just went out with vs .

One other exit I forgot to mention earlier was that of Sunny Chattha, who had his A-Q outdrawn by Tuan Lee's A-J after a brutal T-8-7-9-K board.

Liv Boeree is OUT.

Michael Aherne check/raised all-in for not much more on a board when Alan McLean bet 4k, which Marty Smyth called. McLean instantly folded, but Marty Smyth thought, or at least I thought he was thinking, but it turned out he thought that McLean was still thinking and it hadn't entered his thought process that McLean had thought better of it and folded.

My head hurts.

Anyway, while this was all going on Michael Ahearne already had his showing to spectators in a pre-emptive, I'm feeling good about this hand sort of way. Marty then finally realised action was on him, saying, "I call, I have to." He then proceeded to turn over for the straight. Michael was seemingly dazed and confused when he showed three clubs and then suddenly understood that he was, horror of horrors, actually behind. The river changed nothing and more chips went to the Irish man.

RichEO, (17.5k btw) pointed out something else that Michael said just before they turned over the cards, he said, "If you haven't got a Queen, you're behind!"

Apparently not.

Joey Lovelady -- 37k

Paul 'Got Milk?' Gardner has just knocked out Mike Williams with Kings vs Queens.
