James Kay is OUT. He shoved with 9-8 and got called by Andrew Brisland's T-T.

The flop came T-3-3.

"Running Threes!" shouts James maybe a little optimistically...Sadly this was a live game and not online though.

Maz Nawab's has outdrawn Jack Powell's on a board, the providing 3 extra outs, the being the killer river to cause Powell's exit.

Nick Gibson's exit was with to Steve Littlejohn's .

Pete Linton knocked Lynne Beautmont out, A-T vs A-J, hitting two pair and then rivering a flush.

"We've created a monster," says Henning Granstad.

Leo Kam is OUT, as is Mickey Wernick.

BIG POT involving Nik Persaud and Karim Louis

I get there as the flop reads  three diamonds

Nick Fires 5k at the pot and is re-raised by Karim another 10k

Nick Dwells but eventually makes the call and the turn comes ...

Check from Nick,

Check from Karim

River is  Two Diamonds ...

Nick now bets 12k, Karims turn to dwell ... he eventually and rather reluctantly makes the call ... nick turns  and Karim mucks.

Nick Persaud now has a healthy stack must be around the 60k mark

Dan Owston has crippled Robert Romanello (who subsequently went OUT), Dan re-raising Roberto preflop, Roberto called then open pushed the 8-5-4 flop, Dan called though as he would done, seeing as he'd been holding 5-5, which now puts the Welshman on around 63k.

Double blow for the Irish, both Donal Norton and Rob Taylor are both OUT.

John Conroy has knocked another player with A-K vs 9-8.

Nik Persaud and Dan Owston after winning their big pots.

Julian Thew is OUT. Crippled with Jacks against Dan Sampson's Fours, he then had Ace Queen into Andrew Brisland's Kings.

Dean Sanders meanwhile is on ubertilt. Lots of people limped including Kareem Louis (2nd in Brighton), a short stack pushed for 4k and Dean Sanders pushed behind with Aces, a couple folded and then, apparently Kareem called all-in for 15k with and hit a flush on the river...

Sanders however just got a double up pushing over the top of Dan Sampson's button push with A-Q and finding himself up against J-9, though after the flop he was rolling his eyes up in the air when it came down 8-7-6, another 8 on the turn followed by a Q on the river has put him back in the game with about 22k.

Dean was telling me that after the hand in Monte Carlo last year, (He held 8-7 on a T-9-6 board vs Marc Karam's T-9 which hit running 6's for the chip lead with about 20 left) and then having the nuts rivered in the WSOP ME, he took a lot of time off tournaments and didn't play one until January this year, and that this is only his second, preferring just to play cash back in the Vic.

Dan Sampson has since gone OUT.

Nick Slade has lost a huge 40k pot or so with trip Kings against that made a flush.

Maldini32 has managed a double-up with J-T. Against J-9. On a K-9-3 board. Queen on the turn. No more short sentences. Promise.

By some strange coincidence, all the big stacks have somehow ended on the same table, looks like maybe 1/3 of the chips in play on this one table.

Pete Singleton doubles up on the last hand of the night with K-T vs A-Q.

Nick Honey is feeling sweeter after a last minute hand double up with Eights against Simon Turton's Jacks.

John Conroy and Nick Slade chopped a 40k pot when they got it all-in preflop with A-K vs A-K.

Play has now finished for the day. Chip counts to follow.

Tomorrow we'll restart at 2pm, but for now we're making a mad dash for the taxi rack before everyone else...
