11 players remain.

Marc Goodwin  - 583,200
 Nik Persaud  - 364,100
 Zachary Ford  - 344,900
 Steve Littlejohn  - 330,800
 Laurence Houghton  - 300,400
 Joseph Grech  - 279,600
 Charles Ihle  - 232,600
 Paul Lammas  - 225,600
 Pete Linton  - 201,700
 Aarun Bernard  - 156,300
 Paul Gourlay  - 95,700

Play restarts at 2pm with the blinds at 6k/12k.

Can Marc Goodwin hold on to the chip lead for the last and most crucial day? Could Nik Persaud make his 3rd GUKPT final table this year and more importantly, finally win the title? Will someone else come from nowhere and surprise us all?

And the biggest question of all, will Kev get over his hatred of this picture?

Two Paul tales for you now.

In the very first hand, Paul Gourlay moves over the top of Joe Grech's button raise, an auto-call for Joe who shows , Paul flips , but then places his hands on his head when the first card is the , it's then followed by the then a beautiful , Paul shouts "Yes!", but then for a sweat the appears on the turn, but the river is a blank . Paul moves up to 190k, Joe drops to around 185k.

Over on the other table Aarun Bernard pushes over the top of Paul Lammas' raise. Paul has him covered but only by about 60k or so.

Paul, "I have a big hand here mate..."

Aarun, "I know you do..."

Eventually it's too much, Paul decides he has to call.

Aarun:

Paul:

Yes, Nik Persaud raised from the button, and Joe, who had earlier bluffed Nik off a pot with 9-high, moved in. Nik snap-called with , Joe showed .

Board: ..........three diamonds...Two Clubs

Nasty cooler for Joe who departs in 11th place winning £3,090.

Soon after, Zachary Ford raises from the button and the short-stacked Steve Littlejohn pushes from the small blind, an autocall.

Ford:

Littlejohn:

Board: two hearts

Steve Littlejohn is OUT in 10th place winning £4,640

We're now down to our final table. Redraw and counts to follow, along with photos, but for some, the action is too much already...

Marc raises to 30k, Charles Ihle, newly-equipped with chips re-raises to 60k, Marc quickly moves all-in and Charles, faced with possible elimination after accquring a decent sized stack, decides instead to opt for a fold rather than risk it.

Laurance limps from the small blind, Marc checks his option.

Check check.

Laurance bets 13k and Marc passes. Laurance holds his cards high up enough for everyone behind to see he was holding for the nuts. (He did also say to the table he had the nuts but didn't show). It's an interesting tactic as Marc has been 3-betting Laurance a lot over the last couple of days, so perhaps the latter is trying a new tactic of hoping Marc will get out of line with him.

Next hand, Aarun raises to 32k, and Laurance calls on the button.

three clubs

Aarun checks, Laurance bets 37k and Aarun immediately raises to 95k. Laurance folds.

All very standard and non-descript play now. No-one is talking much, already I think we're missing Pete Linton winding people up...

Marc raises to 34k, Zachary Ford calls but folds to a 70k bet on the flop.

Paul Lammas raises to 32k, Laurance re-raises to 90k. Paul looks a little annoyed but he folds.

Charles Ihle limps the small blind, but Paul Gourlay takes no prisoners and moves all-in. Charles folds.

Aarun Bernard check/raises Laurance Houghton off another pot.
