Mothers Day Wednesday 13th March 2013Sunday was Roxanne’s 1st Mothers Day with Daniel and as it is going to be the only one for the foreseeable future I felt it was only right that we made her day as special as possible. So as a complete surprise we took her to lunch in the Hotel added with that a cheap/cheesy present and card from Moonpig did the trick. Roxanne really enjoyed herself. |

We will be going home in April for a holiday and when we return Daniel will be staying with family in the Philippines, unfortunately circumstances dictate for now |

Online Poker Wednesday 13th March 2013 So last Monday in anticipation of the start of the new blonde poker league for the first time in 7 years I deposited some money £20 into my DTD account. I duly played the 1st event (badly) and then spent the remainder playing £2 rebuy sat for something I can’t even remember. Then again on Monday I deposited another £20 in readiness for the 2nd game then realised it had been changed to Tuesday night, having Monday night off and money in my account was always going to prove a temptation to big for me to ignore!!! So I found myself registering for a $10 Knockout, the result of which I include below....... |

Staff Appreciation Party Monday 25th March 2013Last night was once again the Company Staff Appreciation Party held at the Hilton on Park Lane for around 700 employees, same format as last year, all transport and accommodation costs paid for, Champagne reception, 3 course meal with wine, subsidised bar and awards evening. Unfortunately Roxanne was unable to attend this year (stayed behind with Daniel) which became even more poignant when our hotels MANAGER OF THE YEAR AWARD was announced, as the winner was |

The prize consisted of Certificate, cheque for £100, and 2 nights complimentary dinner bed & breakfast for 2 people in one of the London Hotels sometime in the next 12 months with all travel costs included also.
