hey guys was wondering if you could do some detective work and find out if alan goodrum on the seating list is indeed the same alan goodrum who won the new zealand poker championships 2 years ago.  If it is im sure a cerain mark vos would be quite excited as from what i know goodrum has done a runner from vos and owes him in the region of 35k, and vos had put a bounty on any1 who can track the guy down.

Well, I might not phrase it that way, but I might lurk around his table and see if there's any kind of Antipodean accent in evidence...

Indeed if Roberto was ever in any trouble, he's not now - on an above-average 14k last I saw. Looks like our chip leader currently are Leo Kam and the below lady, Ms Cheryl Routledge, both on around 25k. Apparently Cheryl got in on a freeroll.

Maria is drinking not, as it appears to be, a Coke, but a triple vodka, accompanied by Fran. They are having a lovely time. I have promised to push them under a table if they fall over. Hurrah!

Also doing well is Skalie Jon Kalmar, who's just knocked out one Laurence Houghton - all in on a K-3-9 flop, Mr Houghton must have been hysterically amused when he turned over his pocket Threes only for Skalie to turn over pocket Nines. Mr Houghton now probably vomiting in toilets.

Praz has added to his stack with the exit of Darren Clayton.

Praz raised to 450 UTG, Gorden 'GiMac' McArthur made it 1,350 and then Clayton pushed for around 3,500. Tony Bedford passed Jacks in the big blind. Praz moved in and GiMac folded his Queens after a minutes thought.

Praz:

Darren:

Two Clubs

"He saved you," said Praz, "Otherwise I flat-call you and we get it all-in on the flop."

Maria says to me, "I'm in high spirits now Chris."

"What sort of spirits?"

She then literally tries to spell it out for me.

THREE-WAY ALL IN OF THE DAY SO FAR

I only caught it at the turning-over-cards stage, so this is what I conjecture happened:

Dave Colclough went all in. Jonothon Butters also went all in. Bernard Litman called.

Or some sort of combination of limp-raising-re-raising-all-in.

Anyway.

Dave Colclough - Pocket Nines
Jonothon Butters - Pocket Kings
Bernard Litman - Pocket Aces

Board - a completely uneventful two spades

El Blondie and Butters leaving; Litman on the far right with all their chips:
