Glad Ronaldo missed his pen - I thought you weren't allowed to stop dead in your run up and it had to be one continuous movement.
Glad Drogba got sent off for the absolute campest slap ever.
I hope Ashley Cole's week ends with him going back home to find some bloke up to his nuts in Cheryl.

I'm not a fan of either club but really enjoyed the game last night, a great game for the neutral. It's also re-assuring that winning trophies still means something to the £100K+ a week footballer, especially when you see the level of hurt John Terry was experiencing.

I dislike Utd so much more having grown up a Liverpool fan, and being surrounded by Utd supporting friends, however, in a strange way I have more far respect for them than Chelsea and what they stand for... Argh, whatever, its cricket season now anyway...

i agree, i thought chelsea where going to win it in the 2nd half, like him or not drogba is a brilliant player and chelsea will find it hard to recover without him, felt sick for john terry but just 1 of those things which always seems to happen at the wrong time to the players who care the most , exactly like beckhams pen a few years ago

Pretty good advert for football, I thought.
Tense, dramatic, good viewing.
Sympathy for JT and Lamps, none whatsoever for Drogba.
And a big up for the referee who officiated really well and contributed to the game being the enjoyable spectacle it was.

Except for the surrounding the ref, the play-acting, the pushing and shoving of other players.

Are you being serious? The only thing he did right all evening was to send Drogba off. Him and his assistants brought a new meaning to being incompetent.

the referee was standard imo. he reffed the uefa cup final in 2003 and recall him being weak then, hasnt improved in 5 years.
Was lucky to get out of our hotel alive in seville.

ref was truly appalling yet none of his bad decisions were match changing so he got away with it.
rarely have I seen so many throws, corners and goal kicks given the wrong way
