Duke, who is posting on your account this evening?

And why are you masquerading as an Estonian?

Andorra are in it this year. They rely for their income on Spain. Spain 12 points

Macedonia will vote for Bosnia, and Vice versa

Finland/Norway.

etc etc etc

who'll vote for us? you could put Eric Clapton up there on bass, with Jagger as a front man, McCartney on lead guitar and Mick Fleetwood on drums singing and they'd still stick two fingers up at the Brits

I would have eric on lead guitar, not bass.

I want a bet on this tonight but didnt see the semis, this is roughly how they bet the top 7:

Russia-11/4
Ukraine-7/2
Greece-8/1
Serbia-8/1

then:

sweden; Armenia and finland all between 10's & 16's

someone tip me up one of these pls(yes you do have to have heard the song) Roll Eyes before it kicks off.

ty in advance

preferably tighty, crap taste in music which for eurovision is a plus.

(dont worry, i wont hold anyone responsible, i'm just gonna guess otherwise)

Ukraine may start as favourites - they've been the real steamer in the betting this week. A good Europop song sung by a pretty girl in a short dress. Smiley

Oppose Russia - they were made favourites because the singer is some big star in Russia and the track was produced by some big shot American producer, but it's actually not that interesting and should lose out on picking up most of the 12 points from the ex-Soviet voting bloc as the Ukraine's song is better and they're in the same group of countries.

Greece is also a bouncy pop song/bouncy singer in short dress combo, and is actually a better song than Ukraine's, but Greece aren't in as powerful a voting bloc. Should still feature very strongly.

Serbia have gone for a big powerful non-pop song, like the one that won them it last year. Oppose on the basis that host countries will not do well from now on in Eurovision - you'll only win by being part of a voting bloc and there do run undercurrents of 'let one of the other countries win' within blocs.

For a live outsider I tip Norway - I've got a bet on them finishing in the top 4 and winning it. Are a big price because the Swedish song is expected to do best out of the Scandies, but I think it's far better than the 60/1 it is on Betfair right now. Due to typing in an extra zero in my stake by accident I will collect over £1500 if Norway win. Smiley
