Just back from Reading.  Was a good afternoon/evening, with blonde well represented by myself, Suzanne, Mel, Fran and Chilli.  It was a smallish field with 59 runners, but the top 10 were paid (as per every event on the tour).  I finished a rather disappointing 13th after being average or thereabouts all day.  Apart from one hand (which was the one that crippled me just before my exit hand), I think I played well all day, which makes the bad play all the more annoyiing.  I know the biggest weakness in my game is playing certain hands exactly the way I did today, yet I do it time after time after time.  I will learn one day I hope.

thanks to my friendly anonymous backer for staking me, and I'm sorry I didn't bring home any bacon Sad

Mel played a great game and was chipleader for most of the way until her QQ ran into AA and crippled her stack. I never really got off the ground and was card dead most of the game. I not sure how Fran and Maria got on, Claire lasted the longest

The lady who won it was down to 300 at one point so good for her.
