oh ok thanks Scott.
I am in need to shore up my defence, anyone got any decent CBs for sale?
I've got Anthony Gardner (86 rating) on the market if you're interested. He's 27, so at his peak and yours for 3,750,000 (that's smack in the mdidle of his value and the chairman's value)
LOL thanks but I dont want any spurs rejects even in my Watford team

PSV manager Peter Lap
After all this time I find out Boldie's real name.
The thing is, I've never even wondered what it might be.
Boldie is fine mate..in fact most people at the poker tables would call me that even though they know my name....the Mrs is also getting used to being called MrsB I think

Arsenal manager Martin Jarvis has taken the unprecidented step of naming an unchanged side for tonights game at home to mid table Newcastle. This means the potent looking strike pairing of Van Persie and Arshavin, look set to give the suspect barcodes defence a torrid time. When questioned Jarvis stated 'continuty is crucial at this stage of the season, the dippers from Merseyside will never win the league while they continue to rotate. Plus we have a nice little jolly up at Blackpool coming up in the cup, where the fringe players will get a run out'.

Blake hopes to put the sting back in the Hornets
New Watford Manager Dan Blake has a differcult first game in charge at high flying Fulham.
Blake is keen to stamp his authority on the team and has tinkered with the formation and personnel. "Tonights game wont be easy but we are confident we can get a result tonight" Blake said in an earlier press conference.
It is going to be a close game with our prediction being 1-0 to Watford.

Barcelona in turmoil. Changes afoot at Catalan giants?
by A Staff Reporter
Hopes were high as the season began that Barcelona, with a team of super-stars and huge finances would be competing right at the top of the League this season. However sources suggest that all is not well in the camp. The team struggled to dispatch Norwich in the first game, then drew to Leeds at home. After a loss to Manchester United they were then second best to a much changed Chelsea outfit in a draw. In the bottom half of the table the manager has taken to sharpening his axe.
Out has gone mobile off-licence Ronaldinho in a swap for Real Madrid's mercurial Robinho and there have been several failed attempts to shift Zimmer frame bound Lilian Thuram to unsuspecting mug punters. Critics say the team lacks a cutting edge in the harsh physical world of a predominantly British league and a team style that emphasises pretty patterns and the short game does not stand up well to the rigours of Blackburn away on a Wet Tuesday in February. With Messi typically man-marked the team has become a little one dimensional.
The Manager is nevertheless looking forward to next week's Cup game against basement dwellers Tottenham Hotspur to not only kick start Barcelona's season but more pertinently send much maligned Spurs supremo
Kevin
Shepherd
to the dole queue and thence to non-league football. In the meantime Barca travel to Everton this week and the team is under strict curfew orders. That, and the departure of Ronaldinho, has led to much gnashing of teeth from expectant Scouser hoteliers who had drafted in extra supplies of Brandy in anticipation.
Media reports suggest that unless Barc'a much vaunted forward line begins to fire soon, Bojan and Bobo will be given a chance to shine with the likes of Eto'o and Henry set to be offloaded as the rebuilding programme continues.
Staff reporters do the worst research!

only 5 games into the season and already being referred too as f--ck--g Derby. The manager is taking this as a big plus.
Hoping beyond all hopes to get something at Blackburn with weakened team. A 2-0 defeat will be a result for the SUPER RAMS

"A disgrace", is what the PSV manager had to say about tonight's game, " a draw away to Grimsby is simply not good enough, to have 16 shots on goal and to only score one goal is unforgivable. This game should have easily been won..it's 2 points lost this...bloody awful and I'[m considering the punishment for tonights players"
