Yeah, wp Rookie - although not totally unexpected it's still tough to win a league containing Barca, Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool.

I'd just like to point out I did the double over Chelsea this season. Perhaps the highlight of a fairly terrible season for Blackburn!

6-0 away win at Grimsby, Milner grabbed 2.

The two teams directly above me Spurs (v. Barca) and Fiorentina (v. Man City) have tough last games whilst I have Horneris' Leeds side so I'm hopeful of jumping up to 9th in the league and securing the extra prize money.

Maybe something to note....

Cash Injection: At the start of each season you could receive an injection of money from your chairman. However, your club will only receive a ‘Cash Injection’ at the start of each season from your chairman if they feel that they need to. Please Note: If your chairman decides to further invest in your club then you will receive this money on a Monday.

Dunno how this is gonna work, might be wise to spend my monies before season ends in the hope the chairman pulls another wad out.

with the quality of the teams getting promoted it could be an even tougher season for the teams who finished near the bottom of Div 1 this season e.g. Leeds, Aberdeen, Charlton.

Congrats on winning the league Rookie. Tighty's win and my win means i've sewn up/got to settle for 6th. I think i'd have settled for that pre-season with the five teams who've finished above me.

WP Rooks ... who says money cant buy titles Wink

Spurs could be looking at a 9th place finish, and considering the fkin start I had in this one, 9th would be a touch tbh !!

I suggest Birmingham, they've just gained auto promotion to the top league with all of us for next season which will be startig shortly. You should definately take over them.

In the days before electricity let alone the internet played a play by mail version of this.  One of the other players was a certain very young John Terry, phoned me up to get me to sell him Mark Hughes!!
