No, it isn't an STD...

Yet Another Vegas Diary.

If you are sick of diaries and think there are too many then look away now, this is anohter diary. No more appologies, if you don't like it f off.

I'm not in vegas yet, so its not yet a vegas diary, but I should be there Thursday night.

I've booked a flight, not the best flight but definately the cheapest. I have to change twice, the 1st is in Amsterdam. So I get a mini sin city before I hit sin city itself. I already have plans of deliberately missing my connection on the way home in Amsterdam, we shall see in 3 weeks time.

The flight cost £355. I saved £200 by going the KLM / amsterdam route. The 1st week hotel is booked, Tropicana £261. I only booked the 1st week incase the hotel is crap and I want to move, but once I'm in there I doubt I will want to.

Expenditure so far £616.

I tried to buy travel insurance yesterday but the website was down, now I'm deciding whether to gamble on it or not. I didn't get any for the chezger trip to vegas in April, I should but I might not get round to it.

Been there, took ages deciding which one I wanted. Went for multi trip USA cover as I'll prob be back to vegas again in November. Filled in all the forms, filled in all the other forms on the next page, then got redirected to the payment processor ERROR. You need to start again. Started again, filled in all the forms, filled in all the other forms, ERROR. Start again, fill in all forms... can you see where this is going? So I gave up.

Where x is approximately 1000 times the cost of the insuracnce. I sort of see your point, but then again...

GL in Vegas Rich. Seriously though, get insured if you're going to the USA, medical cover is a must IMHO
