According to our fans sight he's invoked the uefa rule of buying out his own contract so there's not a transfer fee however man city had an offer of £7 million turned down with sven in charge so could be good bit of business for us

LOL How funny would it be if spurs lost both keane and berbatov then there 2 very slight framed midfielders struggle with life in the prem add that to the fact  king and woodgate are the 2 biggest sicknotes in the prem and it's another year of struggle for the whl boys.Ship the money to me know if u want Nem  thumbs up

Apparently Arshavin is on his way to Chelsea. He has agreed everything and will be in London at the weekend to sign.

He's a decnt player, but i'll reserve an opinion until i see the fee...  He had 2 decent games at the Euros, was suspended for two, and was nowhere to be seen in the important Spain game... St Petersburg will be pleased with the extra £ they get though on the back of 2 games...

Agreed, infact I would go even further and say its 18 months before you see the best of most foreign players in the Prem... 12 months is the minimum judgement time IMO

Better players have suffered at the hands of Puyol. Having seen Ashavin destoy Leverkusen & Bayern I think he's the business. Hope he goes to Barca though.

Torres is another, but generally they're few and far between...
