I've also seen the figure 14m for those four mind. Probably be somewhere in the middle.

I'd love Sunderland to get Karbul. He's an absolute donkey, and worse still seems absolutely oblivious to that - he needs to get wherever will offer him a four of five year deal, whether it be Sunderland, Timbuktu, Kobe or somewhere along the San Andreas fault..

£3.25 rising to £4m. Add this to his loan stints at 2 X £2 million and you get 8 mil for a player bought for 750,000. Not bad even though the end fee is a little low.

I think the end fee fits his class. I've been banging on about him since the England U21 game v Germany when he dropped a bollock in the last minute - he makes David James like mistakes without as much of an upside to balance it out. 2m to loan that for a year?! someone should be sacked for that at villa.

Did you watch him at all at Villa last year or Charlton the year before?

He's made what, 3 mistakes in his life? Two of which were when he was not playing regular football and thrown into a big match. Hardly Paul Robinson or David James.

agreed Baron, in his season at Charlton I believe the number of mistakes he made was zero. by a long, long way the best keeper I've ever seen at the valley, always looked international standard
