Otsemobor (Forest) looks good, he even defended a little tonight he may well make the grade.
If you think that Shackell and Doherty are the answer to Norwich's defensive issues then I fear for your season.

I don't i think we are going to really struggle this year, we are probably very good value to be relegated at 8 on betfair at the moment. Otsemobor been with us for a while, got him from Crewe.

Sammy Clingan has been signed from Forest.

Otsemobor is nicknamed Forest in the Jarrold/Barclay stands due to his "Run Forest Run" attitude.
Sadly is about the funniest chant they can come up with at City.

I hope they dont struggle but I fear where the goals will come from, and I am not sure Stanovjic (sp?) is the answer at the back?  Chadwick, Croft and Russell were all lightweight and generally poor last season - without Ched and Dion I feel the team has reduced in quality.

I hope the loan signings and the youth do come on, I like the manager and hope he surprises with the performances he manages to drag from the team.  Time will tell I guess.

Sigh shows how out of touch i have come, don't have the motivation to troop all the way back to Norwich for games anymore.

I see Norwich have got John Kennedy on loan from Celtic. He and Marshall (the goalie) were chucked into a game at the Nou Camp & both had blinders - Kennedy looked to have it all ahead of him, got called up for a Scotland friendly & had his knee wrecked by Ganea. He's had years of operations but claims to be fully fit now. Could you guys (Nakor/Longy) let me know how he gets on. I'm afraid his'll always be a story of what might have been, hope I'm wrong.

£18M is a lot, and is being financed by the sales of Crouch, Riise and Carson.

He's definitely proven in the Premiership, and is a clever player who works - which is what Rafa likes.  He has a tasty missus too.

My only concern is how Rafa is going to use Torres, Keane and Gerrard in the side.  I'd assume that all three are going to be starting when fit - so it'll be interesting how Rafa sets the side up.  I hope he doesn't play Keane out wide...

Reds boss Rafael Benitez says he hopes the shirt inspires Keane to succeed at Liverpool.

"We were talking about the number, and the big names that have had this number, so it will be inspirational for him to have it too," said the Spaniard.

"We were looking for a player with game intelligence and good movement who could play alongside Torres.

"He can play with Torres up front and also on the right. He is a player who can give to us a lot of goals - normally he gets about 15 each year.

"We were looking for the workrate he can give to us, the game intelligence and also the goals."

i think Keane just gives Benitez more options,it will be interesting to see how Kuyt and Keane do play together,i dont think Kuyt is in any danger of loosing his place in the team,Kuyt may keep switching with Keane on the right throughout the game,Keane on the right should give Gerrard and Kuyt more freedom, i wonder if Benitez will ease off on the rotation this season it would be great to see Torres,Keane, and Kuyt line up regular

to tell the truth my biggest concern for Liverpool this season is how Reina and the rest of the defence deal with crosses, lost so many easy goals last season because of this.

I cannot possibly say as I have seen Keane play HUNDREDS of times and Arshavin about 3 or 4 times.

Me neither, I was just wondering.  I've seen Arshavin play maybe a dozen or so times, but only occasionally does he produce the moments of brilliance and I think (from my limited exposure) that he's a lazy player.  I'd guess that he's better suited to the Spanish or Italian leagues rather than the Premiership.

Also LOL at Keane playing on the right.

Keane's best position is playing on the shoulder of the defender - see Anfield last year - he isn't a link man, he is pretty useless on the left or right wing; play Torres as the target man and with Keane cleaning up.
