Bentley is a good signing for Spurs.

agree...Liverpool should have gone for him in preference to Barry

I agree Bentley is better than Benayoun/Pennant and even Babel, but with those already there he's not a player I think Rafa would target...

No one seems to like Babel - I think he'll be a world beater in a year or two.

Talented for sure but from what I have seen he seems to lack bottle.

He's not a fan of tracking back and mucking in at all but he's improved.

Good attacking attributes though, pace, power, can beat a man, a little trickery, sizzling shot and not bad at finishing.

Got to agree though. His head goes down very easily - he never seems up for the massive games. Hopefully it'll come.

Thats what happens when you play a centre forward as a winger.

But he's always been a winger....

He is a cast iron drop off the front, pick the ball up and run at the CBs, championship manager forward, if ever there has been one. Don't think Liverpool have anyone to play up there with him now anyway so might never get to see it.

Liverpool fans

Leicester City have signed goalkeeper David Martin on a six-month loan deal from Liverpool.

The 22-year-old told the club website: "At my age, gaining first team experience is of paramount importance and that's why I've come to Leicester.

"I want to make the best of my time here and hopefully Leicester will benefit from my arrival aswell."

The England Youth international signed a two-year deal in May keeping him at Anfield until 2010.

ahh yes him, thanks

I'm more optimistic now...think we'll be up there

in Max Gradel we have the most exciting player I've seen in a long time, could tear up the division if the rest of the team clicks

The last week or so i have found myself feeling the same way. Come 5pm Saturday we will probably have been bought back to to earth with a crashing bump.

Spot on. He does nothing fancy but that doesn't detract from the fact he's good.

I'd put him in the ever increasing category of keepers which Liverpool have had, who are not ever really gonna hold the No1 spot, but they'll sell for a profit...

Whilst Reina is at the club you are probably right.

I think we are still looking to move Itandje(2m), Finnan(2m), Pennant(7m) and Voronin(3m).

Leto is looking to complete a loan move to Greece this week.

It was in the Daily Star, therefore it must be true.

If not Alonso or Barry, who is the experienced Midfielder that Wenger wants?

Not experienced, but will do the job.
