Thanks Rich,

Just as a guideline  approx. how many out of the 200 are expected to make it to day 2?

Usually about 20 go to day 2, but usually the field is a bit smaller than 200 - so I don't know if that means there'll be a few more than that.

Inflection points are usually after the dinner break and the last two levels of the play where the average stack sizes don't afford too much play for the average stack

about 20-25 is right, plenty of play early doors, and the late stages when stack sizes have consolidated

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Whats the rules on deals?

generally, no deals in APAT Championship events

in the forum champs? haven't discussed it yet. I can see pros and cons, especially with Pro players being eligible

With a GUKPT seat for the winner?  How do you chop that?

I wasn't referring to the added value.

No deals is the most likely option of course

Well if someone has £500 on themselves @ 125-1 and the chip leader hasn't had a bet, maybe effect the dynamics. Just playing Devils advocate as I got screwed with a poker bet year before last Irish Open
