Really sorry to hear your bad news Maureen Sad

Would the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority be able to help in this case? https://www.cica.gov.uk/portal/page?_pageid=33,1&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL

It total sucks that you should be out of pocket due to some absolute morons.

I'd be up for playing in the tourney for sure (will be my first game on blondepoker), and donating some cash too.

With regards to Flea's post about how much to donate, how's this for an idea? Donate a typical days online winnings, or if you're a losing player like me, a typical days loss? Wink

She's rich!

Snoops when you say Rich ..do you mean I am rich in wealth? fortune ? or luck.

Because the life of me I can't see i am rich in any of them.

If you had money equal to the love and respect you have from your mates on here Maureen you would be a multi millionaire

I should definitely  look in to this Maureen, the Police should give this info. Also Citizens Advice Bureau can help.

I will take a look at that site today.

The photographer that came said he is a civilian but will chase up the case today as he seems to think the police weren't aware how serious the assualt has turned out. That is possibly partly Darens fault as he never says how much pain he is in. They haven't given statements yet either. I guess they will get in touch to ask for one soon.

It has been a long night as his ribs are making him feel very uncorftable.

What a bummer of a post to read 1st thing monday morning.

I hope Darren and his Dad make swift recoveries. You say Darren is self employed, I don't know what he does but if I can be of any help whatsoever please let me know, I am still working via agency, so can drop what I am doing and pick up later.

Was just saying that if Mango was to donate a typical day's loss that you'd see a lot of money coming your way. Was just joking, sorry, didn't mean to offend.

Just to let you know Stars have emailed me and informed me that transfering of money and cashing it out is not allowed. Therefore they have put a stop to it. I have emailed back explaing the situation and will update you when I can. Although it casues a problem for us they really are on the ball with security.

Hello Maureen, While reviewing your latest cashout request it came to our attention that you are cashing out funds that were transfered to your account by many other accounts. This is not allowed. Please explain the reason for this and your relation to all this accounts. Your cashout will remain on hold until your explanation has been received. Regards, HostLuisOPokerStars Security

I have tried to pm everyone who has pm'd me with support and also those that have pm'd me about transfered funds, but my mind is everywhere and I am not too sure which ones I have responded to. So to cover all ways I want to say thankyou to you all. Which ever way you have tried to help me it is helping trust me. I also want to thank Blonde for bringing together and holding together such a great community, which cant be easy at times.

Some may be thinking why, when this only happened a few days ago are already concerned about money. Well this is not easy to post on a public forum but felt we owed a brief explantion. Recently we, along with many others i guess, have had financial issues and on top of everything else makes life a seem a struggle at times. I will list what I spend the money on and if anyone would like to see it I will organise that for you. Another person will also be told the final amount. We will manage now. I have contacted a couple of commercial window cleaners who are going to take over some of the bigger shops that we don't want to lose and they will return them to Darren when he is better.

Darren has had yet another bad night, he says his leg is not the problem but his ribs are not too good. He has to lay on his back  which causes him to have back aches as a few years ago he had quite a serious back injury. He is not a wimp in any way and never takes time off work through ill health apart from when his back went.

John is doing ok'sh too. He went to the shop last night and they told him some of it is on CCTV but the main part which happened outside was not filmed as it was out of reach of the camera.

The police have still not been in touch, apart from the camera man, so no statements have been given as yet.

Hope Stars sort it out soon.

As for letting people know what you spent the money on...don't be daft, you're not P4C ( Wink ), I am sure you'll spend every penny wisely.

Very happy to hear you'll manage now though.
