Gl and hope you go deep, BUT..

Dont like the hand you described though, calling 1375 of your 2075 stack pre, what an earth you do if it comes A 7 2, and uve got like 70% of your stack in leaving yourself with 700-800 whatever it is and blinds 250/500 (im going to get slated for this, but its what i think, sorry)

glgl anyways, gogogoogo. Keep it up.

He'll pass as it's a multi way pot and he'd need alot of help as ace is probably about. He then has a full round to put his remaining chips in, it's the Hellmuth way and I think probably right. He is in bad shape at this point anywany and noone passes if he moves in, whether it be before the flop or after. Why not give yourself another option? I am always short stacked and like this option. I am also rubbish though!

GL Peter!

R u srs?

Hellmuth way is small ball, but i think 1.5 BB's is taking it a bit too far.

I am serious, i kind of side with Peter on this one. Hellmuth would just call in that spot every day of the week... Please don't use txt spk i had to search on the Internet to find out what you were saying.

What advantage does he get by moving allin? Not getting bluffed? Personally i'd like to see the action no matter what the flop to decide whether the hand was good... He can definately pass on the flop if he thinks its right.

I GUARANTEE Hellmuth does NOT just flat pre.

Excellent and eloquent way of making your point... How do you guarantee it to me?

Maybe Peter was just getting it in on any flop, so fair enough.

But you came on saying you would fold on a bad flop, thats just ridic and the worst thing you could do.

I suppose we agree to disagree, it's the beauty of poker so many ways for people to decide how to play hands. I can always talk myself into a pass, it's why i'm so easy to bluff.

I guess i just don't think that pushing in pre give you any advantage and having the choice to fold and still be in the tournament does.

Folding pre is best here imo.

But i really dont think you can fold on the flop once you hav put around 70% of your stack in pre and are left with 1.5ish BB's.

So we all agree on something i'm rubbish!

Excellent mate thanks, living in London now. Just got back from Palma Nova/Magaluf which was messy.

Like i said i'd rather have leave more options open to me when i'm that short stacked, its not as though i'm calling 70% of my 100k stack pre flop and then passing. At this point Peter knows he needs to get lucky and he can pass if he thinks that by using the rest of his chips in a later hand gives him a better shot of still being in. The problem is that peter is too short stacked at this stage to abide by "correct" poker play.

I see where your coming from....but we shall agree to disagree. You not gonna pay Teesside a visit anytime soon? They've introduced ante's into the tournys! They're changing, never thought id see the day. Good to hear your doing well m8!
