Short break = good time to fulfill the wishes of the NAS
I agree mate ... poor effort.
Me & Boshi are only a phone call away for the next one
You and Boshi?! One can't tell the difference between the men and women and the other's never spoken to one!
Look ... me and boshi have the perfect working relationship ... he does all the work and i take pics of the valets ... it aint broke so we aint gonna fix it

To a simmer of applause throughout the cardroom, Mr Greekfish is your current chip leader:
Not any more he's not. Marc Goodwin raises to 11k and Richard Berridge smooth calls behind him. The flop comes down
and Marc bets out 30k. Again, flat call. They proceed to check down the
turn and the
river, and Berridge turns over
to win a roughly 90k pot, putting him on around 180k by my reckoning.

I have failed you.
An astounding array of ladies just now entered DTD, but before I was done gawping and composed enough to take a photo, they disappeared into the VIP room. Apologies. Maybe they'll come out again.

Andrew Andreou made it 10,000 preflop, Jon Omara pushed all in for a total of 50,900 and Andrew folded.

At home and v.tired - a 10 hour session yesterday and another 5 hours today is too much for a lazy cash gamer!!
This comp has a top structure, and (IMO) is generally played at a good standard.
I can't justify £750 on any reasonable basis, but I always know I am going to enjoy these comps.
There's a £500er at the DTD August festival - it's a lot of cash to most of us but well worth scraping together if you enjoy a good structured, well organised comp, played in an excellent atmosphere.
Got sick-lucky against Paul Lammas today - played with Paul before and he's got a super game, and will definitely scoop some big results in the near future - top guy as well.
The Chris Bruce vs Berridge hand showed me how much I've got to learn yet - Chris called an UTG rs, then 3 streets of bets with A3 on an A high, dry board, with the final 50k call effectively for his tourney life - poker I just can't play.
BTW TY to anyone who posted support.

With Richard Berridge making a button raise of 10,000, HWCBN took the opportunity to push all in from the small blind for a total of 40,500.
As HWCBN (or "the artist formerly know as Mick McBag" as Simon Nowab called him) remained relatively quiet, simply chewing on gum and swinging gently on his swivel chair, Richard stood up from his own chair and commented "You look weak."
With the onlooking crowd eagerly awaiting a decision, Richard took a deep breath and announced "I call."
Although HWCBN could only table king high with
, it was indeed ahead as a dejected Richard Berridge meekly showed a dominated
.
However, it hasn't been HWCBN's day so far today, and the tide didn't turn this time, the board coming a rather cruel
.
Again, he took his defeat like a good sport, as he did when I showed him his final table picture from earlier.
So yes indeed,
He Who Cannot Be Named
is OUT in
7th
place winning
£2,370
.
