Oh, and Yakult - who else has these?

Used to.  Didn't notice any benefit so stopped as they aren't cheap and I'm tight.

Just been shopping.

Not gone too healthy - just got me some lunch stuff so i dont have to eat this shit every day. Not only are bacon and egg rolls bad with mcd's etc but its also pretty expensive in the long run.

Bought some chicken breast and rolls and bread, so sandwiches are good. Got some banana's! And have some cupasoup too if necc..

Honey Nut Corn Flakes for breakfast now so I don't feel the urge to go to mcd's for a big breakfast!!

You're a new man!

Lol, pisstaker!!

Need to find a way of making a salad interesting!.

Quantity and Diversity.

Although the quantity bit might just be because I'm greedy, but f you have 5 or 6 different elements to a salad (rather than just lettuce and tomato for example) then it makes it much more palatable.

I started having a salad with Tuna for lunch. Just got some Salads from asda Lettuce, Cherry tomatoe, potatoes, egg and cucumber in there (1.50 or something like that) and got some of them John West sachest of Tuna in chili sauce..nuke the Tuna..stick in the salad and you're done...and perfectly edible Smiley (Though the Tuna smells like catfood when it comes out of the sachet)

salad bar at the supermarket will solve all your salad problems. you get 20-30 different things to choose from and can have as much of each one as you like. you can't fail to find something you like

Ps... I'm cooking cottage pie tonight! Uh oh... Ling is the taster.

It's currently browning off in the oven.

I think I did good, i banned ling from the kitchen while I was preparing it, as a proper chef should.

I will let you know if she survives or not.

do you like smoothies rookie?  I'm not a great fruit eater either, but I try to have a glass or two of smoothie a day to get some in me.  Soup's good as well if you don't like veg too much as it's easy to disguise it Smiley

Good advice.

I hate fruit but love the innocent smoothies and have at least one a day.

Never been a breakfast eater until recently but now i have toast and orange juice ( with bits! ) every morning and its surprising how a liitle change makes you feel better.

Orange juice with bits...just one step too far for me..it's just not natural! Wink

lol.

I suffer from irritable bowel ( although her indoors is insistant that all of me is irritable ) and the bits are pure fibre!

Was hard at first because i can't eat white bread now either just wholemeal yuk! but its ok drenched in marmalade.

Have you tried eliminating dairy from your diet?  That can often be a trigger for IBS.

I haven't as yet no.

Tbh i don't know an awful lot about it yet as its only been a few weeks all the doctor says was stop smoking which i'm trying to do although that would be my doctors advice for a broken leg and to incorporate more fibre into the diet which i'm trying to do slowly.

Need to find a way of making a salad interesting!.

I imagine most Doctors auto advise "stop smoking" but I am 99% sure as a sufferer from CIBD for over 8 years that there is no link between smoking and IBD, Crohns or ulcerative colitis (unless the orifice you smoke from is not the usual one!) Smiley
