You used to go to the cinema and there would be boards in the foyer with details of the movies, or at least some clue what they are about. Now there are just lists and times, at my local Vue anyway. Went last week - didn't recognise any of the titles, so no idea what any of them were about, or even if they were comedies, etc. Queued up and asked one of the teenagers behind the counter, who tapped into his screen and read out some blurb. A couple more, but there were about fifteen movies and the queue was building behind. Why have they changed what was an easy informative system to one that doesn't work very well unless you know all the movies before you go?

Ended up seeing one called The Grey. Very boring - if you haven't seen it, don't bother.

Bud... look up on imdb  or if you go to the cinema website there is a bit that takes you to a short synopsis.....

I didn't think anyone still just 'went to the cinema' rather than going to see a particular film.

How quaint.

Watched two films this w/end.

Crazy, Stupid, Love which the mrs kept asking to see but told her definitely no. But she asked again and I remember reading Chompy's advice itt that is was a pleasant surprise. It was not a pleasant surprise.

Midnight in Paris - Woody Allen. A pleasant surprise.

Just roffle @ having a borderline classic as your worst film ever.

Think I'll go for The Tourist.
