Also, miscast imo. John Cusack is usually good but he is not a comedy actor. Seth Rogen in this role ftw.
Just about worth a look though.

Rogen >>>>Cusack?
Surely a level?

completely different styles, both great but for me is cusack all the way.

There is a lot of actors can do Rogen comedy, but very very few can pull off Cusack comedy.

I'd go as far as to say on their day Paul Rudd and Jason Segel can trump Rogen, but that depends on how I feel that day.

I'm a big fan of the heist/crime genre, and found this 2-part cracker:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1259014/

Starring the inimitable Vincent Cassel.

True story of some french nutcase playboy lifestyle-crim bank robber called Jacques Mesrine. Great action, brilliant direction. In french, with subtitles.

Good trailer here: ::::::::::::: http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi1171456537/

Watched - Up in the Air last night. This was a film nominated for 6 Oscars including Best Picture and Best Actor for George Clooney. It's blindingly shit. There are numerous problems with the film but the distinct lack of any plot is the biggest handicap imo. Really disappointed by the lack of quality out there at the moment.

Mark Kermode is twat. I hate his reviews as all the films he likes are mostly arty farty shit, he hates giving credit to the good hollywood commercial stuff. They should get a reviewer that represents the views of the majority of the population, and is capable of enjoying a film that requires parking your brain before you watch it once in a while...............

found it confusing, awkwardly plotted and unevenly paced.

Not sure it deserves all the rave reviews.

The first 10 minutes are confusing, but after that I found it easy to follow. The cast are awesome and if Nolan ever gets to make a Bond flick and Craig isn't in it, then Tom Hardy has to be an absolute shoo-in for Bond.

Had to do my duty this week and take the young lady to see Eclipse. It was proceeded by some top draw fajita's at chiquito's so all was not lost...

Ive'see the other two and this is by far the weakest with the Cullen family all suddenly  surrendering stories of  how they became vampires and the female lead constantly mind fucking her two beaus because she's incapable of making a decision. Word of advice to the two boys. You can do better guys, honestly she ain't all that. The film trundles in a formaliac procession leading to the final battle in an open field a la Brave heart. not a single casualty for the good guys and all the baddies ripped limb from limb, yeah ok !

It lacks the moody rain drenched atmosphere of the original that i liked and i feel if it wasn't for the leads and the hype this one would sink without trace.

Girlies everywhere will lap it up of course drinking in scrawy pasty boy in favour of buffed hunk...go figure so its prob brownie points all round for the male populace if they can stomach the two hour slog otherwise send her with her BFF and go play poker...that way youre both be happy.

Apparently, according to my starry eyed companion it gets really good in the next film when they get married and have a kid...big Whoop !! FML
