There's a slight norkathon on the table near the door with an unprecedented two slices of norkage on one table. The pick of the crop is possibly this young broad, who I believe is E Jones. It's a bit awkward her being sat next to the door though, as she keeps leaning out to grope me every time I pass. Becoming somewhat of a pest in truth. Emma Jones - won a seat through a Nuts Poker League tournament, I think.

Leo Kam is a player to keep an eye on. He won last year's London leg of the GUKPT and made another final, impressing many a pundit with his play. He's just off the back of a successful trip to Vegas where he ran deep in the 5k event and won one of the bellagio 1k events, winning a total of $140,000 or so. Not a bad summer... The young Canadian looks to have a bright future ahead of him in poker.

There's a subdued atmostphere in the casino at the moment. The players are quietly getting on with the business in hand without too much fuss or noise. One player who I thought would buck this trend was Roberto Romanello, the effusive Welshman nearly always good for some exciting table banter. However the grey clouds outside appear to have taken their toll even on the normally irrepressible Roberto who was sat there, uncharacteristically quiet and meek. Give him a couple of hours and I'm sure he'll be chirping away though.
