I'm pleased to hear that but if you check our bench tonight you will see how stretched we are.

I know you're in a spot of bother with your first team..and your bench..but Twente really is an awful team...and they sold Engelaar so that really leaves them in a spot of bother. I don't epect you to win 5-0 but 0-2 1-3 should be possible.

I wonder if the pool match will be shown in Ireland on itv1 , had a gander at the TV guide yday and found no sign of it
I'm assuming it will be a relatively drab 1st leg tonight , liverpool to edge it or maybe a draw , but obv the home leg should be a rollover
If you've got Sky in Ireland, you can try this:
http://www.mediauk.com/the_knowledge/i.muk?title=How_to_get_the_ITV_regions_on_Sky_Digital&diff=0&oldid=1205
LOL yes the powers of SKY have made there way across the water and on to the shores of Ireland , I appreciate the link m8 but just checked the rag and the game will be shown on itv1 here , so yayyyyyyyyyyy!
Speaking of liverpool games on tv .....just got an email of lfctv earlier on, and they said that setanta is shown NINE l'pool matches before xmas which is super sweet, nevermind the games that will be on sky,
Thank you god for setanta best channel ever ever ever

Arsenal have NINE first team players missing through injury and will most likely field Ramsey(17) and Denilson(20) in midfield so this may not be the stroll in the park that it appears to be on paper.
I'm actually quite relieved that Twente's perennial top scorer is out suspended for both legs.
You have enough strength in the squad though. Some of your youngsters look very good.
+ Twente is shit.
It's better than ninetene.

Glad Alonso's playing. Looks like he's almost certainly going to be staying at Liverpool then.

Talk on the Radio regarding Barry if he plays tomorrow he cannot play in Europe for anyone else until Feb?
Assume same for Alonso - seems if you play in Prelims you can still play for another team in European comps post Feb - is this new or even correct?

If Barry plays tomorrow he CAN play in the Champions League for another side, because it's a different competition.
However, the way we played in the first half if he joined us he wouldn't be getting Champions League football...

Players ARE allowed to represent one club in the Intertoto competition, without becoming ineligible to play in other European football for different clubs.
