So I have managed to log a total of 100 games this weekend, I didnt expect to get such volume in but as I have had the house to myself I thought I might as well take advantage! As mentioned many times before the standard of play on i-poker is v.poor. During the first 30 - 40 games i struggled and was making the right moves against the wrong players which ultimately means i was making the wrong moves!
One example was me shoving a 4k+ stack from the button with the BB on less than 1k getting snap called by A10 in the sb for his tourney life. At first I was furious with the call and was ready to don my keyboard warrior outfit and give the guy an earful, however took a few deep breaths and realised my shove was the mistake, know your opponent!!!
The more games I log the better I feel and more comfortable I am at the tables, this is of course only a good thing. A couple of things I have noticed is my game was far too aggressive during the 50/100 and 100/200 levels, unless you are up against one of the few winning players on the site you dont need to start shoving left right and centre, you can see a few flops which just wouldnt happen on stars/full tilt. Seems mad that you can complete your SB and be pretty sure the BB wont push.
One other thing I have started to do is be-friend the weaker players, i read an article by daveshoelace (sorry i forget the title) about being nice at the tables as people that like you are far less likely to make 'spite' calls. It seems to be working!!
Results so far...
1st 20
2nd 19
Other 61
Profit $246
ROI +7.45%
Obviously ROI could be much higher however after the poor start I am pleased although I will be looking to get to 15% by the time i finish. Aim for the stars and all that!
Well thats all for now! GL at the tables and GL to all the other STT'ers looking for stakes!

More 1sts than 2nds... always good.
How much play is there heads up typically, how many big blinds in play?

Generally under ten BB's (each), depending on the skill level of opponent i'm shoving every hand, so many players will pass until they have 3 bbs left. just need to recognise the players that this doesnt work against!

Just playing turbo's at the moment, but will mix it up if needs be.
EG of standard notes (first bit from sharkscope)
$33 SNG - Losing Player $2k. Limp Folds (100/200). Calls shoves light
or
$33 SNG - Break Even player. Limp shoves (50/100). Weak tight on bubble
I used to use loads of abbreviations however found in the heat of the moment i was spending a few minutes -'decoding!'
When are you hoping to start pwning the $20's ?

can you explain the bits highlighted, i take it as limps but will fold to a raise at the 100-200 level and limps but with shove to a raise at 50-100 level, is this right?
and im gonna start as soon as i get staked the full 100%

The notes I have given are just examples of plays i'm trying to exploit. For example some players will limp for 200 when they have 1800 then pass to a shove from me is great for me, however if people slow play or will call a shove when they have limped I dont want to be shoving on them too much! Its really hard to give an example of player notes as I just note a play in a hand which i think is abnormal or exploitable.
How experienced are you playing SNG's? Do you know much about ICM, bubble play etc?
