Reminds me of the story when I was in the police where a copper was chasing a burglar along a roof and slipped and fell, his wedding ring got caught on the guttering somehow and the call over the radio was that he was hanging by his ring from the roof.  Cheesy

Oh blimey, don't get me going on the police: taking down your particulars, waving your trunction..... I could go on for hours

Nothing wrong with that......

Unless you get a bum deal.

Went to Stoke Circus last night for a £20 MTT. This tournament is advertised as their weekly "Deepstack" tournament.
Since when has 6000 chips and 20 minute levels been considered deep?

I played this once before months ago and then you got 8000 chips and longer levels. Whoever changed it should be given a kick up the arse. Calling it 'deepstack' is an insult to places like DTD who run proper deepstack events.

To be fair, it was dealer dealt and the dealers were perfectly competent (unlike the players) but still, I feel entitled to have a moan here.

Call it the "a bit more deepstacked than usual, but not much really" tournament and I wouldn't be upset.

I still haven't got over them calling it the Champions' League, so what do I know.

ironically, i stopped playing this last year cos it was just too deepstacked.

wd to stoke for listening.

Yeah common Stoke people paying £20 expect proper structures!

Should be at least 20k starting stacks and 90min clock imo

The one that really tilts me is self deat games with a dealer button.....

Last time i played one i took the dealer button off the table, guy gets right hump with me "how the fuck are we supposed to know who the dealer is"

"The guy with the cards in his hand you moron"

Whole table laughed thankfully he wasn't a gangster...

no animal rights out here, I'm still in sunny Poland. I think the main reason for it not being a real duck is that it'd have difficulty balancing on the small dealer button for an extended period of time
