You have put on a lot of weight lately..any plans to go on a diet ?

If the Flushy for mod campaign were to become successful, what major changes would you implement to the forum ?

Learning to be a pilot, and being a pilot.

Your thoughts on life as a pro in general.

General analysis on your tourneys as a whole, just not the end/bad beat!

Piggy backing on this, after getting your qualification as a pilot, why did you walk away from this as a career?  Do you see being an online poker pro as a long term career?

Your thoughts on players in general..state of play in the UK and the players you  respect and the ones that you consider to be overrated.

Are you looking to ever retire from online poker after winning a certain amount.

If so, what are you planning to do afterwards?

Wow a lot of responses, i am going to get to all those questions over the next couple of days because right now i am so tired and steamy, lol.

I am still going in 2 comps, the 100 w 1 rebuy on FTP and accidentally reged for the 100 deepstack on stars which is taking an age!

Haven't played on a saturday for months but there was a good schedule today so decided to jump in, the highlights being:

Stars EPT sat
WCOOP 6 max + 2nd chance
FTP 200 PLO
Party 50k

And then all the normal comps, in all 19.

I started quite badly i wasn't playing very good and bust 2 on tilt early including the PLO it also didn't help that i was into the stars 100r for $900! I bust the 300 on stars semi deep same as the 100r the only runs i got on there were in the $800 EPT sat and the $50r.

EPT sat i was going great got an early start played 2 really bad hands with approx 25 left (5 seats) where i did 20k from my 30k stack without seeing a river! I managed to rally and made the final 5/9 so was fairly comfortable when i made a play i think is pretty standard but i could opt to fold. One of the CL's who was opening very frequently opened in E/M i found 99 next to him and with 35k @ 800-1600 decided to jam over the top, now he had approx 80k and was pretty much cert for a seat so i know he is going to call me very tight which is why i think its ok to make this "move" obviously i was wrong and he called with AK hit the A and i was gone! Money back at leas i suppose...

50r, one of my faveourite comps i managed to grind along without getting anything looking anything like a stack, a timely double on the bubble and a few re-steals later i was chipped up when i luckboxed KT vs AQ i found myself in 4th with 18 left. Now came a play i made that i think is a good move but something i don't do often i was comfortably stacked and decided to cold 4 bet 77 you can see the HH here no miracle and i was gone Sad

Full Tilt was a complete blank tonight, i got deep in the 300f but no joy

The only other comp was the Party 300f which is so soft its amazing, i managed to pull together a stack with about 30 left and by the time we got to the bubble (20 paid) i had put together a good stack, i made the final 2nd in chips and by the time we were 8 handed i was CL. This however is when the wheels fell off, i found myself short with 5 left after a few cold decks but managed to take advantage of some truly awful play to re-take the CL with 4 left when this happened, the guy was pretty clueless and managed to then call of 2/3rd of his stack with a flush draw on the turn which he proceeded to hit vs my TPTK AK a few hands later, i finally got dispatched in this hand for 3rd place and $5.4 $10k less than the first i feel i really should have managed.

So although i came close to having 2 $15k score i broke pretty much level (buyins for the day $5,442, i have cashed for $6923.9 although i am still in the stars 100f the first is only 2k) these are the days that i really hate it feels like you have done well but when you count up it is just demoralising.

I didn't want to start this off as a moan thread but it seems i have already so i will finish by saying that my 'horse' (Rookie) is chipped up in the stars 50w1 with 28 left, COME ON ROOKIE!

Looking forward to this thead, a good read so far.

Is $5k pretty standard for a days worth of MTT buy-ins?

Do you ever find yourself in a final table needing to win it to break even for the day?

I have to admit I have been a huge fan of the flushmeister since my first live game at a p4c event which you won many years ago.

I have tried to follow your encrypted (to me) codes and have tried very hard to improve my game over the years but to be honest I never found any of your posts helpful.

I just wondered if you realised the effect you have on the "aquarium" when you continually down every post on the PHA ...I gave up on there ages ago when you tore me to shreds...I happened to look on there a couple of days ago and no change I see.

So my questions is why do you do that? Also I would like to know how you first got into poker? Did you learn by the book and if so what book first inspired you.

Is $5k pretty standard for a days worth of MTT buy-ins?

Weekends are always more and especially so atm because of the WCOOP, usually i dont play comps like the 100r as the field is pretty clever, at weekends it becomes far more diluted, during the week i am usually in for anything between 2.5 and 4 depending on each days specials and the number of rebuys i have!

Do you ever find yourself in a final table needing to win it to break even for the day?

Yeah it does happen sometimes, luckily for me though most of the late comps i play all have 10k+ payouts so it easily gets me out.

I am still in this damn deepstack, playing like a loon and trying out some funky stuff though its good fun just 6 bet bluffed a guy post flop Cheesy
