Flushy i know you like the odd sports bet.

Biggest coup sports betting, sickest loss etc?Huh?? (no need to talk figures as such)

Biggest bets have all been dogs, had some sick ones on before mostly on my own dogs.

Couple of them super sick beats £1500 @ 6-1 on one of ours, he goes clear at the first but gets a knock shoots back through the field is going clear at the 2nd and the 1 dog decides to move off the rail and take him out, sigh.

Another good coup that went slightly wayward was a dog dubai dug out it was running at hove and listed @ 12's in the RP he reckons true price to be about 2's! We get to the track with the plan of lumping on and spot a certain Mr Channing who is running a book (obv in hindsight backing against Mr Channing in his current form is a bad idea) anyhow i managed to get just over 1k on @ av price of 9's it goes off at 2's falls out the traps 5 lengths behind and loses in a photo.....fml

Obv whenever we get £500 on a rick it comes in.....

Just remembered another good one on the debut of one of our dogs all piling on, i had £2k on it loses by a length to another dog on its first outing, obviously that dog was Shadayid talk about running bad.

Swerved Thanet in the end but nice to see my 2 shares are still in going into day 2, gl Alex and Snoopy! I stayed in and played online small loss in the end only thing i got deep in was the ladbrokes $200 with 1 rebuy/1 addon i was CL with 22 left and came 17th ran AQ into AK BoB i 3 bet had to fold to a cold 4 bet about 5 minutes later and then re-shoved AQ and lost the flip to JJ.

Still i got to look forward to a day off poker, i have just come back from Romford having watched Phil in a mini final where he ran a cracking race but ultimately still had a lot to do, he needed to break to get the win and he didn't break Sad still Martin 'Save The Green' Green managed to pick out a nice 6-1 winner in the race after so was only down a little on the trip. Obviously i don't run that good in life so the trip can't have gone that smoothly, just before the Dartford Crossing i managed to get a flat tyre which was a right pain was we were having dinner before the race with Dubai.

We managed to limp around the local area though and found a garage and a rather helpful mechanic who sorted it out before the breakdown guy could get to us so one mini result there! Downside is my spare tyre is a crappy little one that is only suitable for speeds up to 50mph....fun drive back......mvls

Thx, I need it more than your other runner though. Uri Geller reckons that if you touch the screen and think positive thoughts, it'll bring me luck and I'll double through first hand. Either that, or your cutlery draw will melt.

Had a very rough poker night tonight, had a mate round (Grant) he wanted to rail me to watch how i play online which was quite good fun, unfortunately i didn't even make the break in my first 6 MTT's! The only thing i had a good start in was the $50r on Stars where i had 10k after hand 1, i then got in this highly comical pot for the CL http://www.pokerhand.org/?3339151 i had read the situation right that he was going to re-pop light and i think i managed to bet size the turn perfect for him to think he had fold equity, sigh.

That hand pretty much summed up the night, however, as i was 2 tabling for a while i was starting to get deep one was the $650f PCA sat on stars the other was the $50w1 the PCA sat had 2 seats and money back for 3-13th we got to 7 left and i lost these two hands:

http://www.pokerhand.org/?3339661

http://www.pokerhand.org/?3339658

If i had one the first one i am very confident i get a seat and if i win the second one i think i am right in with a chance as the opponents were very weak.

The $50w1 went in a similar fashion i built a big stack when with 36 left i flat called a raise from the UTG player after the button had called with 89h in the SB the flop came Q94 2 hearts i check raised the buttons 10k to 28k he shoved i called his AA held for 130k pot and the CL i took my 25k left and managed to get into a 90k flip AQ vs TT with 32 left but no joy.

All in all all a poor night where i never had anything go right, thankfully i won $800 playing hi lo and last night after writing my entry i won $2600 playing hi lo which means i am $80 up on the 24hrs after MTT buyins!

Now just sunday funday to look forward too, sigh

Did getting out for the day influence your decision to stop/carry-on?

I didn't know i was out of the day till i added it all up, i am afraid i am not one of those to chase daily loss/win targets, not much use as a MTT'er!

So not a bad 7 days of poker, i kept getting deep in the 9pm rebuy on full tilt and finally got a very good score in it on Sunday when i came 2nd for $36.5k, i believe the word is wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

I am 'coaching' Grant online again tonight so should be fun, after that its no more poker for me for a while, going out Wednesday and Thursday nights with the animal that is Dubai then Friday with the missus, Jamie's wedding on Satuday which should be a cracking affair and then swiftly onto the Chargers/Saints game at Wembley!

Somehow though i have to take my car into the garage tomorrow morning!

I like the story of you playing limit poker with all your hands face up and a regular complaining about it to the cardroom manager.

What hotel was that at?

My few days off not going as planned, i played last night in the casino and did £5000 in the £2-£2 game, oops!

Followed up by a 3k loss in the 75-150 game on stars.

Thankfully Katja Thater was just playing it so i won 4k, quite amusing when she busted out of the game it insta broke!

Decent read, not as funny as the fellowship though Smiley

What would be your favourite game to play?
