Did you know that the collective noun for Crows is called a murder.

The only reason I know that is my brother in law asked me one Easter. "Do You know what a group of Crows is called?"

I did not.

He proudly explained that it was called a murder of crows. His day job is a policeman and he asks all the little people he arrests for little crimes the same question. He lets them go if they get the right answer, if they are incorrect, they go in the back of the van.

At Christmas he asked me the same question. "Do you know what a group of crows is called?"

"A murder?" I ventured a guess.

He was very impressed. His tells me how all the little people he arrests for little crimes are asked the same question. He lets them go if they get the right answer, if they are incorrect, they go in the back of the van.

I was unsure who my favourite crow was so I googled 'my favourite crow'.

the top result was a youtube video of Eric Clapton and Cheryl Crow singing 'my favourite mistake'

wish I hadn't bothered now

My favourite crow was called Crow and appeared on an educational show for toddlers in the 70's called You and Me, Crow's main line every week was to say "Hello Crow" when prompted by his little squirrely mousey mate, must search You Tube to try to find some footage.

I have kept my first driving licence and use it when people ask to see it

I joined a firm 2 years ago and they said "You can drive a company car ,have you got your licence "?

I handed over the licence and the lad went away and returned saying yes thats ok

I said "Is it ok to drive with that licence then ?"

He said yes it was, and he had photocopied it and put it on file

I then told him it was only a provisional licence, valid only for a year

Expired in 1971   And was for a motorbike ONLY

Its great how office staff check details in it

It also shows my first ever speeding ticket for doing over 30 mph

Thats nice, trying to catch your new employers out on the first day like that, kind of like you are hazing them instead of the other way round. Good job you didnt do it in the interview I guess.

Crow vs Dave Colclough

Dave took an early lead but resisted all attempts to be interviewed

The table talk was chatty but not from Dave

First to go out was gutted and he was

Dave found a set but Mike found a bigger set and Dave was out

Geoff followed soon after

Red21 now had a storming run taking out mikesmate

the heads up battle began Crow vs Red21 It lasted for 15 minutes

Red was lucky, hitting a river set

Hello Crow.

Do you drink Kia-Ora? If not, is it because you find the flavouring a bit strong?
