Thing is, unless you are going to walk with him, how are you gonna know if he hitches a sneaky lift or something ... or better still, promises a mate £200 of your money to wait for him 5 miles up the road and then drive him into london Smiley

Cheers for the PM, I will pick you up at the agreed place, £250 is very generous, nice one.

Find someone with a running GPS watch. Wear that and it'll make sure there wouldn't be any cheating. Would be able to help with the course etc too.

All depends on the route quality but it is defiantely very possible. Would have thought running the first bit would make it much harder though.

It's quality he can prepare his room in anyway he wants so he has to stockpile food etc, get all his supplies in a day before hand.

Toilet, well, a bucket?

Why on earth are you doing it Brighton>London rather than London>Brighton (downhill) gl running 25 miles through the downs!

Im not an expert in this kind of thing but I think running the start of it might be optimum strategy.  Itll be easier to run the 1st chunk of it then walk the rest of the way than to walk most of it and run the rest of the way.

Itll also be a psychological boost getting the 1st few miles out the way quickly.

I did the round Jersey walk earlier this year 48.1 miles, took me 12 and a half hours and it was hell.
Was up and down cliff paths and steps etc

I bit of training and decent trainers and taped up feet and this could be done in under 20 hours
