On the first weekend of October i am planning on making my first visit to Dusk till Dawn. it is a fair way from down south, so i decided to tie it in with Crystal Palace's away match at Notts Forest. That just happened to be on the first sat of the month so i had visions of playing the £300 321 event.
However, i have been on a real bad run of late and cash is a bit tight, so i decided to that i would play the £50 event instead, at least i would get to play at Dusk till Dawn, if not in a biggie.
I went on to their website today to check that the £50 event was still on that night, and noticed an ad for sats to the £300. I opened an account a couple of years ago but not used it for ages.
I deposited £50 and played the £10 rebuy tonight. 10 players with 1 seat guarenteed. Not much happened in the first half hour, so i brough a rebuy and an add-on.
Flopped a FH soon after, but then ran Kings into Aces. Was below average but players were steadily dropping.
Got to 3 left and at one point the other 2 had 18k each and i had 4k. A couple of double ups though and i was back in it and eventually heads up with nicwhiten. I had a slight lead but he came back. I then made what i considered a great call against a flush draw and held,only for him to double up and start to claw it back.
However he called one of my all-ins, i hit a 6 on the turn and i am off to the £300 event in a couple of weeks
