                                                     Junglecat goes to The Club

Ok, whats it like going to Feltham,

Funnily enough about 8 years ago I used to work in Feltham but I'd forgotten about it since I've been through so many career changes since then!

It was great though. I really enjoyed going there and seeing the studio, meeting the people involved in skypoker. They were all very friendly and helpful. I hope I go back sometime

How big is the studio

It's not massive but because it is all green it looks like one huge putting green.

How tall is Dan Lobb, is he over 7 ft.

He was sitting down but I'd say he was roughly the same height as Andre the giant.

And what did they ask you

They asked me lots of things, mainly about updating but also why I stopped playing poker solely for a living.

 ,     oh and

What was my E mail

You asked if someone raises your big blind what should you do. I told them it depends on lots of things but that an aggressive player in late position should be re-popped occasionally to keep them in line

Great answers , glad you had a good time, I will get a screen shot for you , find it on here later

Hi Mr. Sword ,  Why are you called swordpoker

Hi Crow,

I'm a fencing coach (amongst other careers) so I poke swords for a living Smiley

Nice job,  is fencing the new Kung fu ?

I met a team of French stunt men once. They lived on a farm near Winslow, they used the farm buildings to build medievil carts and carriages and practice chasing stunts on horse back. They put on a free demo every year for the village carnival. The said the old coaches had been used in the robin hood films with Kevin Costner and on TV for Robin of Sherwood. they were all part of one family and had moved to UK for a film and decided to stay..

I retired in March this year as I rang up works and Pensions and asked how long do I have to work before I can get a pension

They said I must have 30 qualifying years to get full pension.

I asked how many I had , they said I had 35 years paid for, So I stopped paying class 2 self employed contributions and retired in March

I was a Building Engineer. My last job was to supervise  the re-building of the student Halls at Christ Church college In Oxford. I travelled 55 miles to Oxford by car then caught the Park and ride into town and had to be there for 7.30am start
The drive home took about 2 hours, so I was glad to stop working there.

Inside the grounds of Christ Church was a walled garden. It was used by the Dean of the college and head of English. It was in this garden  louis Carole wrote Alice in Wonderland sitting in the garden. There was a small wooden door in the end of the wall that was drawn  in the book.

We demolished this part of the wall to make a disabled ramp for students. They were going to throw the old door away, but I made them wrap it in cling film and take it to the college museum for safe keeping.

The Main Hall is used in Harry Potter as the Great Hall  Dining Room . Twice a year they close the Hall and film the next episodes of the film

They filmed "Louis" around Oxford while I was there .Busy place Oxford.

And now a very late interview with Poker player and Dealer      Dik9

How long have you been playing poker ?In December this year it will have been 20 years of playing and dealing poker, it's about time I hit some form I think.

Which sites do you play on

Not really an online player, but have accounts on most, just in case something juicy comes up. Prefer Stars software to others.

Do you play live at pubs, clubs or Casinos                        Yes, Yes and Yes

Had any big wins this year                               Errrrrrrrrrm Fck my life ............ no

Do you play every day                                                    Yes

Where did you go on holiday this year                    See above two answers

How many miles a week do you drive               My Carbon footprint is quite large ...... about 800+

Do you prefer on line or Live                              Poker??? ....... Has to be live

Who's your favorite Poker Pro

Surinder Sunar ...... proper gent at the tables, dignified, good etiquette and decent player.

Ever played a Poker Pro, like Aces or Devilfish                    Dealt to most of them, played a couple

Whats your favorite restaurant,French, Horse burger ,Crispy camal, spud u like, Chinese 0r Indian

Chinese for takeaways, Indian for after a piss up, Burgers for when I am waiting for the missus to do shopping, Italian for when I am in trouble or creeping.

Does your wife/partner play poker

She absolutely hates poker, and has no interest in learning

So Why are you called Dik9 ?

Long and boring story, not what everyone thinks, regret ever using it lol

Cheers Crow

Thanks go to bed its late

Hi Claire, So why are you called,       CLAW75

I took up online poker in December 2005.   At the time I used the same screen name for most websites - Clairep75.  My first online poker account was with Betfair, and I used Clairep75 as my username.  On that particular software you needed to use a different name as your 'screenname' (had I known I would have used a different username and saved clairep75 for my screenname Smiley ). My login id at work at the time was claw (my first initial and the first three letters of my maiden name), so I just used that instead with the 75 (year I was born) on the end.  When I joined blonde a few months later it seemed to make sense to use the same name that I was using at the online poker tables Smiley

Its a great bird name , There is a player on Sky called The-Claw .She has a granny avatar. When we chat I call her Granny Crow

So why are you called....                          Bertpup

Hello Crow,

Its basically from a nickname at school which started off as Berty then overtime evolved to Bertdog. When i was registering with online sites i didn't want to look to "gangsta" so changed the dog to pup.

Nice one , good name, I like dogs

Thanks Phil,

Here's a Blonde who joined in September 2006, but is a slow poster          MICKMOOSE

So why are you called       MickMoose

My real name is Michael Moss at school this obviously got changed to Micky Mouse then somehow got changed to Micky Moose. Some members of my family stilll call me moose. So it is a nickname that has stuck with me for more than 45 years. One more thing that you may be interested in. Dont know if you are old enough to remember a pop group called Modern Romance. The lead singer in that group is my cousin. They had a top 10 hit which was called Ay Ay Ay Ay Moosey which was named because of my nickname.

Thanks I will look that up in my Guinness book of hit singles

Try and post more , "Its good to talk "
