apparently it's the headsup where the lucky tag came from...............

I know the hands you mean but there's still some great plays here.

To beat a guy like John Gale most people would need some luck! Smiley

That HU battle was played in great spirit, I remember John Gale putting his arm around each knocked out finalist in the WPT h took down.

The most i got ahead was $8, spent the rest of the time clawing back......so i'm frustrated and not in the right frame of mind Smiley

I watched Brain too and I fell of my chair. I think it was edited very much to make Brain look luckey, he does play crazy hands out of position but thats the deception factor of his game, which is a good game. Ive seen this alot lately the game is gearing to the new steal which is an out of position steal, its that strong to want to play a hand out of position your opponent will think you have a monster, Brian did this well from what I seen. gl mate

I played with John Gale in Vegas and he was once of the nicest blokes I have ever met. It would have been nice to see more coverage of the heads-up duel and see how Brian bascially must have tilted him up so badly so stick all in with KJ pre-flop. I am sure this was after a number of set up plays by Brian, the coverage made Brian look lucky heads-up and thought they should have shown more hands.

I think the main difference between WPT and WSOP from a viewers point of view is that the WPT is basically a 3 / 4 day satellite for a TV STT where as the WSOP is extremely edited highlights of th e closing stages of a MTT. I wish we were getting 2 hour shows intead of these round ups of the knock outs.
