1 sausage and he gives the place 9.5/10. Guy is clearly an amateur.

National Hotel - Muswell Hill, London attempt, i think i would rather let Amatay cook me breakfast.

I wouldn't want to cook you breakfast.  Burn your sausages, and you could go postal.

This breakfast journey began for me over 4 years ago with the birth of another one of Dewi's amazing threads.

At the time I was going through some major house renovations so didn't have the facilities to enable me to compete with the true pioneers who are of course Dewi, Sov and the great Amatay.

Eventually the work was completed but still I avoided my own breakfast attempt due mainly to the fear of ridicule from the Blonde hoards.

Finally after commenting on other people's efforts, sometimes quite harshly but always truthfully it's time for my very own entry in to this thread.

It's been a long time coming but hopefully it'll be worth it.

I believe the key to a successful breakfast is the ingredients. Everything in this breakfast has been purchased today so is as fresh as can be.

The full list of ingredients is as follows:

2 x pork sausages. Purchased from local butchers. Was going to be 3 but they were huge.
3 x slices of bacon. Purchased from same butcher.
Black pudding. Again from butchers.
2 x hash browns.
2 x fried eggs.
Fresh mushrooms.
Branston baked beans.
2 x buttered toast.
2 x bread and butter.
Mug of coffee.
