Ok as far as the maths is concerned to start off with you have 15k left and the pot is standing at 19k as we speak. So you stand to win 34k for your 15k investment just over 2 to 1 which is good enough to merit a call in isolation as you have 8  clean outs twice over.

Yet i would lay it down, i personally wouldn't want to gamble in such a marginal situation unless you are an underdog to the field (which i don't believe you are Brian). You still have 15k left which is nearly 20bb which is playable. You are obviously behind and there is nightmare situation where he has a set or some of your outs. So a pass for me.

fantastic brian......INSTANT CALL for me......say you pass...that leaves you with what 15k? a player like you who quite clearly plays to win should be taking calculated gambles like this.

After seeing you performance last night i am quite sure you didnt pass?

are you going to the CPC? if so ill make myself known over there..!

regards

Well having watched your WSOP win in the pot limit event last night for the first time it has to be an instant call.

4-5o/s is the new nuts - who needs AA?  Cheesy

he passed and didn't find a hand until he had 2x BB left, when he picked up AA and got looked up by the big stack BB who called blind with 2-3 off and flopped two pair

or am I wrong?  Cheesy

Just over 2 to 1 on your money, just under 2 to 1 to win the hand. Not a bad gamble but too marginal for me to make this call in a tournament.

Hmmmmmmm,,,,, 4 5 o/s sounds VERY FAMILIER BRIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was in the $175 WPT double shootout on Stars - you raised, I re raised (with AK) and you set me all in - which I called. You hit, I didnt.

Im sure he called and won.

BTW, how did you do in that Double Shootout?

Surely passing invites people to start raising you and will undermine your aggressive game?

If they see you call with anything they might be scared to make a move on you.

I think I'd call in this situation if i played your style of game.

I will be going to the CPC
m3 boy, I Lost heads up, ( called w/ 4/5, to bust m3's  AK), also busted a guy w/ 33, I had 5/6

When you start a hand W/ 4/5 you cant fold when you hit it! yes, I had a great outcome to be open ended, I will almost always push if I catch anything on the flop! Lets say I hit the 4 only. How many outs do I have now? It is better than playing AJ, AQ, you know you are live and you will not have a kicker problem if you hit the 2 pair on the turn or river. w/  or  you are always worried about your kicker,  anything makes me sick, i hate these hands, plus how much do you really make when there is a  As on the board?Huh?Huh?

I hit the river w/ three diamonds and busted the guy, went to 60k and the chip lead!

next hand found  , short stack raiser and I put him allin, he had  As , flop was    As, and I lost 9k, so much for quality Cool

then 4 hands later i lost 15k w/ a set of  , to a set of  , both on the flop, if not I would have had a hudge stack Cool

I have different ideas on the game, I do use a lot of things that DC has shown me but in some different ways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd call, because if you're gonna call a re-raise with 4,5o, what sort of good flop do you exactly expect? Seems silly to gamble by calling the re-raise then folding your hand on the flop if you actually have a draw. You never know he might have AK and you find yourself with two live cards.
