Poker4Charity require three types of people for it's world record attempt at the GUTSHOT on 3rd-6th June.
Witnesses
During the attempt 2 witnesses must be present at all times working in 4 hour shifts. Witnesses are an essential part of the attempt as they are responsible for recording ALL activity in the official log book. Witnesses CANNOT be related to James, Play in the attempt or be officials of Poker4Charity or Game for Life. We are looking for VOLUNTEERS (we hope not to have to pay for witnesses) although we will provide FREE food and drink and an exclusive record attempt T-Shirt for your troubles.

As part of the regulations for the attempt we need to provide 'A Qualified and Practising' medical official at ALL times in shifts of no more than 4 hours.
Whilst we have a budget for this we have been quoted some seriously extortionate figures for covering this (in one case 75/hour for nurse cover). Obviously we would like to keep costs down in order that most the money ends up helping the kids. Therefore if anyone is a qualified Doctor or Nurse and can spare at least 4 hours for a REASONABLE RATE OF PAY please CALL ME URGENTLY on 07985424036. In addition to payment you will also receive FREE food and drink and an exclusive record attempt T-Shirt and the knowledge that you have made a big difference to a child who is battling against the odds.
Players
HORRAY - yes folks we are opening the pre-registration list.
In the main we are hoping that people will just turn up and take part and spend hours enjoying the hospitality as supplied by the GUTSHOT (where a warm welcome comes as standard) However, we appreciate that some people will be time limited. If you need to pre register email

Stakes to be played + (donation to Game for Life): 5+(1) , 10+(2), 20+(3)
Game Choice: Texas Hold'Em, Omaha, Seven Card Stud.
There will be several HIGHER STAKES games throughout the weekend, although these are by prior arrangement.
We hope many people will take advantage of the 5 buy-in. This weekend is about getting as many people to participate in raising money for charity.
