what odds could you get on jamie brown before this thing started?
I think he was about 3-1. Andrew Teng and Karl Mahrenholz at 7-1 and 9-1 looked to be the best value.

Andrew Teng raises to 20k on the button and Jamie Brown, who is not afraid to play a pot against anyone, makes the call from the big blind.
Check check.
Brown bets 26k and after some very slow and deliberate thought, Andrew Teng raises to 85k.
Deep in thought, Brown makes the call.
Brown looks a tiny bit uncomfortable at that card coming, and checks. Teng moves all-in. A sigh from Brown as he scratches his head, "Count please."
The dealer counts it out, it's another 107.3k more for Brown. He thinks for a minute and says with a smile, "It could be a really sick bluff."
But he folds, and it looks to be the first decently-sized pot Brown has lost in the last day or so.

Paul Rigg, who now is the chip leader, limps the button, Jamie Brown makes up the small blind and Dave Penly checks.
Checked around.
Brown checks, Penly bets 20k, Rigg calls and Brown folds.
Penly bets 40k, Rigg folds.
Jamie Brown takes the next pot with a raise and a continuation bet, but his body language suggests he's a little tired and he doesn't look quite as crisp and clinical as he did last night when he practically ran over the tournament from about 40 left to the final table. He still has over 400k though, just might need a couple of Espressos...

Mike
Moore
check/raises a 22k bet from
William
Martin
on a
board to 62k in a three way pot with Paul McIntyre before Martin and McIntyre both fold.
Next hand sees Jamie Brown bet 55k on a
board and Paul McIntyre make the call, only to see he's been rivered by the
of his foe.
"I knew he was bluffing on the flop," came a thick Scouse accent. McIntyre and
William
Martin
are now the short stacks on the table.

Andrew Teng and Jamie Brown get it all-in preflop with
and
. Not enough clubs or spades come on the flop though to make it interesting though. Chop it up.

Interesting final hand before we went on the break.
Paul Rigg limps from the small blind and Jamie Brown raises an additional 18k. Rigg now reraises to 58k and after some serious deliberation, Brown makes the call.
Check check.
Rigg bets 55k and sits there in silence occasionally watching Brown play with his chips and occasionally gurning a little. Brown raises to 130k after some thought and the action goes back on the Blackpool player. He suddenly announces reraise, before adding another 100k on top of Brown's raise making it 230k. Brown instantly moves all-in and Rigg looks like he's just been told he's failed his 'A' levels and can't go to uni.
He counts out his remaining 160k, puts his hands on his head and looks utterly depressed. He folds. Jamie Brown now has all the chips in the world, well, almost a million of the 2.26 million chips in play. Taking that 3-1 shot now looks to have been a good bet.
Incidentally, the word on the grapevine is that Rigg had A-Q and Brown turned a set of sixes.
Back in a few minutes after the colour up.

Paul Rigg pushes
Andrew
Teng
off a 30k raise by moving all-in.
Dave
Penly
raises to 30k and gets called by
William
Martin
and
Andrew
Teng
.
Woohoo, an action board. Check check check.
Perhaps this time? Check check check.
Sigh...Check check check.
Penly shows
, with a wide-eyed look that seems to say, "What filth are you calling me with if I've won this hand?"
The other two muck, I'm sure he's still grateful to add another 100k to his stack.
