Was saying earlier, Krul hardly had a save to make.

Krul was seemingly quiet but was very competant on Free Kicks And Corners

A very solid unit that could be a real threat this season if they spend big on a striker to play along side Ba...Somebody in the Dean Sturridge or  Javier Hernandez mould

Lol good ol Dean, obv you meant Daniel but Deans commentary tilts me hard.

We where amazing tonight and fully deserved it. I still think the same about our team as I did before today, we are a long way off the top 6 but nobody else should worry us, we have a huge month ahead. Great night, that's what it's all about.

Great result that. Thought Newcastle played the best I'd seen them this year even after the great start they had. Love that Ba - he's pretty great to watch so would be good for you if he's back quick

Daniel of course  Smiley   ... Maybe Mr Pardew can identify another  £ 25 million rated player on a free transfer ,so far hes made some pretty shrewd acquisitions on a minimal budget

I wonder how much he could buy Andy Carroll back for ?  Stranger things have happened so  Its not beyond the realms of possibility !

I think you Newcastle boys are a big price to beat Man Utd tonight  3 - 1 draw no bet   ( 7 - 2 betfair )

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/newcastle-v-manchester-united/draw-no-bet
Unfortunetly being a big price dosnt mean anything even if you getting good value as just cant see Newcastle getting anything from this game ! Even though im praying they do ! United are going to be all guns blazing here an unluckily for me as ive given up this year on betting singles i would love to lump on Man utd to win tonite!
Did i make the above statement!

A 'big' bid now in for one of our players. Could be you for this guy of ours considering Tomkins bid got rejected.

I was at the game and was hugely impressed with Newcastle.

The speed at which they shut down and denied space in midfield and defence was very impressive and in my opinion a massive contributing factor to their victory.  Tiote Guttierez and Colloccini were immense in this area.  Although Rooney, Berbatov et al were pretty rotten they were made to look worse by these boys.

They are very much a team built on a solid foundation with a real potency on the counter attack. Ba is one of the best I have seen at holding the ball up, committing defenders then slotting a pass to a teammate in space.  Ameobi is like a lump of concrete but fair play he puts himself about.  Absolutely zero spacial awareness or movement though.  They need better to support Ba and Best is not the man.

Santon looks a real class act and it'll be interesting to see what Pardew does when he has a full compliment of midfielders available and R. Taylor maybe isn't the best bet at right mid.  Can't really drop Taylor but Santon needs to play imo.  Thoughts?

For my sins Im a Sheffield Wednesday fan but Newcastle have done me a lot of favours this year so I thought I would compose a little ditty as a thank you.

Who knows it may end up on the terraces ?....

Sang Loudly to the tune off Ba Ba Black sheep..

" BA BA IS A BLACK AND WHITE "
" HE SCORES GOALS TO THE FULL "
" IN THE NET A SHOT STOPPER "
" HIS NAME IS TIMMY KRUL "
" PARDEW IS OUR MASTER "
" WHO MAKES US WIN THE GAME "
" WITH SUPPORT FROM GEORDIE BOYS "
" THE PREMIERSHIP WE"LL REIGN "
