I'm thinking we are fine but Fulham's a huge game, if we lose so much added pressure on the derby, huge couple of weeks.

Pretty certain we'll be fine though.

Wonder if I'll live long enough to see in our 100 year anniversary of not having won a trophy.

And yes, I know the best team won, but bit of luck on our side we would've won this tie.

Huge, huge sighhhhhhhhh.

Why is Niall Quinn commentating? What a complete idiot.

Hope Newcastle score two 90th min goals to win to shut this most biased commentator in history up.

I'm obv not going to defend any of the trouble that was caused by Newcastle fans yesterday, but just for the sake of balance...

http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/disabled-newcastle-united-fan-left-2596656

This happened right near were I was sitting, both sets of fans obv have a minority of scummy twats who are more interested in causing trouble than they actual result.

As for the game, disgraceful performance, not a good idea to save your worst performance of the season for the derby, not looking to make excuses, if the Cisse goal stood blah blah blah, we played terrible and deserved to lose.

Interested in non Newcastle fans opinions on whether Pardew should be sacked or not ?

FWIW, I don't really have an opinion either way, pretty tired of the same ol' same ol', things are going bad lets sack the manager. At the same time though some of his post match interviews, more so when we win than when we lose, tilt me no end and he's made a lot of bad decisions this season, he got off very lightly with our abs joke performance versus Brighton in the cup for instance. Variance has very much evened out for him though this season.

For me the Derby result was worse than Liverpool, the Sunderland game was huge and they're dire yet we rolled over and let them trample all over us which is completely unacceptable in our biggest game of the season by a mile. Pretty pathetic excuse to blame playing in Europe as well, if you can't get the players up for that game then you simply aren't doing your job.

I would think he would be very lucky to survive after the season they have had, even accepting all the injuries and the departure of Ba etc

I don't know enough about the relationship Pardew and Ashley to know if this is likely though

I know there's an 8 year contract, but what is the payoff on a sacking? It can't be 8 years pay surely?

I don't think details of clauses have ever been released but surely they can't be that moronic for there not to have been some in an 8 year contract which was just absurd in the 1st place.
