we wouldn't have scored without De Jong on the pitch. When he gets to full fitness he's gonna be crucial for us trying to find a way to replace Cabaye. Remy is just a decent striker who looks amazing in an average (at best) team. He'll leave in the summer though. Gl to him. |

Nah, Arsenal should go in for Shola Ameobi. World class player. Only reason Newcastle don't give him regular starts is to cunningly keep his silky skills and lethal goal threat secret from the other top clubs. |

Arsenal could do better business than the 16m they'll have to pay (assumes QPR get promoted, not certain ofc) But I definitely think Arsenal is one possible destination for him. |

But it just highlights how much we rely on certain players. Without them he can't get a decent team performance. Well, he still couldn't. It took players like Cabaye and Remy to pull results out of the bag.
It's easy to see why managing us can be considered a difficult situation but it's being used as an excuse as to why the manager is doing poorly rather than just seeing that it's actually because he's a poor manager.

i'll do the same thing I do every time someone suggests sacking pardew. who would you replace him with? be realistic. don't say someone like 'Michael Laudrup' because a) he's wank and b) wouldn't come here anyway. |

Won't replacing the manager just see the same things happening, and just somebody new picking the side?
