I went "oh ffs shola you choose this as the time to score your first goal in god knows how long", to "yes!" when they scored and "GTFIT!!!" when they scored the penalty.

Genuinely want us to lose every remaining game and finish outside the top 10.

plspls pls pls gtfo. the pen means that the fans can really turn on ashley. sit out protests etc. gtfooooooo

He doesn't give a shit man.

He'll do what he wants and develop a siege mentality of 'I'm not giving in'

The club serves perfectly as a vessel for him to hawk his sports direct wares so why will he care?

Sit out protests? We already have some of the worst commercial revenue in the league so why would he care?

He only walks away if we get relegated and don't make it back up before the parachute payments end AND he gets £150m+ for the club.

Brilliant:

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/newcastle/next-permanent-manager

Price on Tim Sherwood coming in. Would rather have Pardew than that clown.

In fact, of the entire top 10 or so the only one of half want is Beardo. More because he's a legend and can't poss be worse than Pardew than because I think he'd be good, though.

nearly cried reading this!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/newcastle-united/10799779/Hatem-Ben-Arfa-pleads-for-a-chance-to-help-his-beloved-Newcastle.html

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/apr/30/hatem-ben-arfa-newcastle-alan-pardew?

one of the most gifted players in the world, saying he has no confidence, made to train with the reserves whilst the worst team in premership histry gets beat 4-0 every week and he sometimes gets a chance when its 0-2 for 10 minutes.

One of the most heartbreaking interviews I've ever read. Everything I stand for and hope for and ask for as a Newcastle supporter summarized by our most gifted player, the f***ing hero that he is, in an interview designed to illustrate the meaning of football in contrast to our pointless s*** approach

so so so sad.

Thoughts on the 'protest'?

Pathetic IMO.

Yeah your right, 3rd highest attendances in the League, 7th highest turnover, 20th in transfer spending, makes you wonder why we not out in the streets celebrating at another great season with a team very likely to struggle to stay up next season, just like last season.

You just won 3-0 lads.  49 points for season. Expected to get 45 at the start.  Hate to see how u would feel if you had 45 points like you were expected to at the start of the season.  Imagine if you had 'run bad' this season and finished with 41 points (4 points worse than you should have done rather than the 4 points better than you should have done) you guys would be killing yourself.  Football fans are a funny breed.

I don't see why I should be happy with having 45 points as a target.

I don't see why I should be happy with the owner treating the fans like mugs.

I don't see why I should be happy with a manager who is determined to back the 'regime' and blame the fans/press/anyone else you like.

I don't see why I should be happy with slightly over performing to a terrible expectation.

You do realise that Expected to get 45 at the start is the problem not that we just won 3-0 against a team relegated or that we've ran good and got 49 ?

So with the current team we have if we don't run good we can expect a relegation battle at best, and we should be pleased about this ?

I don't see why you think you should expect to finish above any team in the top 8 who are currently above you in the league table apart from maybe southampton.  On what grounds do you think you should finish above any of these teams other than you are blind newcastle fans?
