wasnt a fan of pullis at stoke, think he's done wonders at palace but will v likely stay there. would absolutely take him though if he were available. That said, it's a short list of who I wouldn't take ahead of Pardew right now.

No doubt Newcastle a step up for him though in terms of pedigree but not sure he'd get the shot at managing a team with decent xfer budget that he prolly deserves a shot at because the owner doesn't want to invest.

All largely irrelevant because it's a million that Ashley ever sacks Pardew and he doesn't have the good grace to walk away.

It would probably be a step down from Stoke in terms of transfer budget.  He had plenty of money to spend there.  Not sure Newcastle's budget would be as big.  He turned Stoke into one of the biggest net spending teams in the league in the past 5 years.

yeah that's exactly my point. he wouldn't get the budget he'd probably want but I think certainly Newcastle job more prestigious than Stoke job. Right now I'd take ABP though. Anyone But P45DUE

Hoping he will hang on Pardew til the final whistle of the last game as i have had a decent bet at 1/3 he keeps his job til the end of this season.  Pretty incredible bet if it wins given how much hate there is for him.  Looks like it was virtually impossible for him to lose his job this season given what has happened since i had the bet.

that bet is a lock mate. should be way shorter than 1/3 (regardless of when you bet Cheesy) Would probably rate it at about 1/60 now (lol arbitrary numbers plucked from thin air)

he might (long odds) sack Pardew in the summer and much much longer Pardew might resign (doesn't have the spine) but basically he's here to stay.

What's the point?

He'll be playing Obertan ahead of him within a couple of months.

Siem De Jong 'over the line'.

Pretty happy with that mind.

Why? Within a season he will have been pardewed.

No excitement for the upcoming season whatsoever. Obols the pressure against the manager continues from game one.

Have it on good authority that Newcastle just bid 10.5m for Andy Carroll. Everything has been so quiet regarding transfers, this would be very interesting!
