liverpool were shite. lets be honest a flukey goal then 10 men behind the ball whilst they got battered.good defensive show though.

Who had the best chances?  Alonso's free-kick that beat the keeper completely, and Chelsea were very lucky that the ball ricocheted to a defender rather than to one of the two Liverpool players in front of the goal.  There was Gerrard's shot that Cech saved in the first half, and a few other chances that were just off target.  How many shots on target did Chelsea have?  Liverpool also put together some great passing moves, including one that would have been an excellent goal if Gerrard's final pass to Babel had been as good as the rest of the build-up.

Liverpool were up against the strongest squad in the league, at a ground where they hadn't lost in the league for over 4 years.  I don't think Liverpool could have been 'shite' and got the win, surely that would disrespectful to Chelsea.

Both teams played quite well i thought. I don't think Chelsea were bad but after half time Liverpool looked like they could cope.
At 1-0 the longer the game went on the more Liverpool were always going to just "do a job" but still looked good when attacking with only 2 or 3 players at a time.
Di Santo came on and gave Chelsea more options but there best chance probably fell to Ashley Cole who fluffed it.

wp Liverpool, you get to join the illustrious group of clubs to have won at the bridge since mourinho took over

I think that's now 3 clubs, liverpool, barcelona and charlton

Wasn't that a draw, technically?

nope

and I've decided to remove liverpool from the club now I've seen yesterday's game as the goal it was a highly dodgy deflection

and Essien. The protector of that unbeaten home record. I reckon the closest they got to losing it before was when arsenal were  winning 1-0 and Essien scored a screamer late on to deny the gunners.

I enjoyed the game, Liverpool deserved it in the end. I like big Phil Chelsea have a full team out injured and he does not complain or whine.

Joke Hole and Drogba always do well against us.  I think they missed them more than we missed Torres.
