What's your number One?

I have been playing (HalfLife Source) Team Fortress 2 of late and it's pretty much better than anything I ever saw, even better than Counterstrike. The Class System and Maps are brilliant.

Neck and neck between COD4 and Goldeneye. Messed around a bit with the latter but will give it another go. What do peeps find so appealing in COD4?

Some of the earlier Multi FPSs were great up to a point, but there's only a certain amount of running around strafing and shooting you can put up with. Counterstrike added a goal and some tactics/teamwork. In TeamFortress 2 they worked really hard to get all the balancing right so the only way to really win is if your team thinks out the best strategy. The major difference over any game I played is the Spy class. He can morph into another class and the same colour as the opposing team, so you're never really sure that everyone in your team is really in your team. You have to keep an eye out for the guy who stands beside you pretending to be working with you, ready to stab you in the back for a one-hit-kill when you drop your guard.
Whereas the Counterstrike servers were dominated by germans, TF2 has drawn in a huge french following. I can now swear fluently in 3 languages.  Grin

Joint Operations / International conflict Europe (I.C.E)
This game was bought as a cd and has evolved with downloads on the internet to where it has constantly evolved.. Fully explorable landscapes and fully useable/controlable motorbikes, APC's tanks... a fleet of helicopters and harrier jets.. and hovercraft then there's the destroyers and the warships... up to 150 players and the biggest map is about 1000 squar miles... Ohhh its great.. check it out on you tube...
I really should get out more...
